  1. This is why states are changing laws to make these squatters criminals who can be arrested and convicted, rather than declaring them unwanted tenants that require civil court evictions. A squatter can do a lot of property damage as this woman has stated.

  2. i’m sorry to hear that about this for this poor lady, I will be praying for her so she can get what she needs. However. I would never hire anybody off of a social media to come to work for me and my Home never, I would only do word-of-mouth from family and friends, and probably local businesses. I know people of hire people off of Angie’s list, and have gotten taken. People have to be careful who they hire and their homes. It’s your responsibility to protect your home and your valuables and your family. Don’t hire strange people often, Internet like that. there are other ways to hire people. People just want best cheap and easy and that’s the problem.

  3. Personal issue. YOU hired a non-licensed, non-professional because YOU wanted cheap. YOU told a total stranger that you'd be gone. I feel bad, but not sorry, for your issue…

  4. The home owners let it happen. They got no one to blame but themselves. Americans just need to grab their balls and do what we would have done before the child sniffer took office.

  5. It ain’t a civil matter. It’s a law they made to squat on the Indian lands stolen Native American lands built on their burial ground. Who cares about your house, is all new immigrants move in move in with their houses get the government to let you live in their houses, tax tax old immigrants, give money to the Native Americans, calling all nations, calling all nations with nuclear superior power keep the Native Americans from being squatted on and genocide. Can I get a hell yeah for Texas and taxes

  6. To my own research In USA, individuals living in cars due to partial homelessness result from a complex interplay of factors. High housing costs relative to income, stagnant wages, and income inequality drive this issue. Job loss, weak social support, medical expenses, evictions, and lack of affordable housing also contribute, while systemic problems and inadequate policies further perpetuate the phenomenon.

  7. I don't understand how Breaking & Entering, Trespassing, Destroying Property and Selling Property that is not theirs (Stealing & Fencing / Grand or Petty theft) is a "civil matter"!

  8. This is insane. How is squatting even a thing in this digital age when we can look at records on your smart phone. Squatting is breaking and entering. That’s a crime. Not a civil mattter.
