I remember watching some Star Trek episodes when I was a kid. Usually at friend's houses. I was the only sci-fi fan in my family. How the heck did that happen? Star Trek TOS forever!
It seems the alien planet had changed its mind about the delivery.
Some of the greatest television ever made. That show did more with a modest budget than any other. It was creatively inspired and imaginative.

I grew up with TOS, and of course its absolutely nostalgic – but today it looks just awkward and cheap for me.

Sets used were still reminiscent to me of Roy Rogers and Lassie outdoor scenes.

For some reason Spock has no tricorder. He always had one but, oops, not this time. How was he going to examine the delivery? And who deals with people who are literally called Troglodytes?

I find this quite fascinating, when I was a kid and StarTrek first aired as Science fiction show back in 1966 to a kid this was a real happening and very entertaining futuristic show. Now many years later I know that it all fake however it's still somewhat entertaining 🎉😊
The original and the best. Probably still be watching this in the 23rd century.

Sometimes i feel like the only trekki who isnt an old man
They were on a very tight shoot sched and budget. No time to refocus lighting for different camera angles. So the well known and oft used solution was to light the set and more so the talent 360 degs so no matter which they walked, turned, stopped, etc they were always well lit with no shadows on their faces.
Man, I used to love the original Star Trek when I was a kid. Still do.
