Bro. This was a sales pitch
Are you a supporter of the Z3 snore zapper by Novonord Labs? They are using your name and likeness to sell their bad device.
Very thorough guy, but he gives nothing away for free. Everything by subscription.
Help me! I am exhausted every day, my Cpap machine pushes my tonsils and uvula to the back of my throat, and I can't breathe. The doctors want me to keep using it but I can't. I couldn't breathe so bad the other night I went to the ER and they gave me steroids and antibiotics Flonase and mucinex.
My breathing improved a little, but it's even an issue while I am awake. My throat isn't letting air get in there, and the doctors won't help me. I can't keep living like this.
Gary this wasn't informative, you fixed Dana's sleep Apnea, if you really cared about the 1 billion people that it affects you would tell us what you did.
Not super impressed with these podcasts. This particular one it seems like you are going to outline treatments
You rattled off possible treatments without ANY explaination.
Sleep positions? Cool…. why dont you actually DESCRIBE them and explain how they help.
This is the 3rd Youtube vid Ive watched from Ultimate Human that has NOT actually given any actionable information.
Wasn’t informed, seems more like ( we need to do a video on it and ran thought like lightning, nothing new)sorry just saying.
My husband just had the MMA surgery, frenecomy and bone expansion by an orthodontist. Now apnea free. His was caused by teeth removal as a child by an orthodontist. My teenage son also had sleep apnea and after bone expander after 6 months is also apnea free.
Well this doesn't help…
This was a waste of 5 1/2 minutes

I experienced NDE during a sleep apnea episode
Gary, why don’t you sell L-methionine anymore? And also, my friend had the EXACT same gene results as me with every color the same and he was told to get TMG and i was told to get L-methionine, why is this? Makes me suspicious but I’m willing to hear your answer
So where do we find these solutions?
What do you think about mouth and tongue exercises for sleep apnea?
About 10 years ago I was having sleep apnea issues and I found some random YouTube videos with weird tongue and mouth exercises that were supposed to help. I did them regularly for a while and never had sleep apnea issues again.
Here are the key takeaways from the podcast episode on sleep apnea hosted by Gary Brecka:
1. **Prevalence and Severity**: Sleep apnea affects approximately 1 billion people worldwide, with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) being the most common form. It involves repeated interruptions in breathing during sleep, which can lead to severe health consequences if left untreated.
2. **Health Risks**: Untreated sleep apnea is linked to a range of serious health issues, including hypertension, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stroke, and depression. The condition significantly impairs sleep quality and can lead to chronic fatigue, morning headaches, and overall poor health.
3. **Advancements in Diagnosis**: Diagnostic techniques for sleep apnea have become more sophisticated with the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning, which help detect subtle abnormalities in sleep patterns and breathing more accurately and non-invasively.
4. **Treatment Innovations**: Treatment options have expanded beyond the traditional CPAP machines to include adjustable airway pressure devices, implantable devices that stimulate throat muscles, surgical options, and custom-fitted oral appliances. These innovations offer personalized treatment approaches to effectively manage and mitigate sleep apnea.
5. **Lifestyle Interventions**: Simple lifestyle changes such as optimizing sleep positions, improving diet, maintaining a healthy weight, and engaging in regular physical activity are critical in managing sleep apnea. These interventions not only improve sleep quality but also contribute to overall better health.
6. **Future of Sleep Apnea Research**: Research is moving towards exploring genetic predispositions and personalized medicine to develop more customized treatment plans. Identifying genetic markers associated with sleep apnea could significantly improve the efficacy of treatments tailored to individual needs.
7. **Importance of Proactive Management**: Awareness and proactive management of sleep apnea are crucial. Understanding the latest research and treatment options can empower individuals to seek timely medical advice and improve their quality of life.
8. **Educational Value**: The podcast emphasizes the importance of staying informed about sleep apnea as knowledge is key to unlocking better health outcomes. This condition, once seen as merely an annoyance, is now recognized as a significant health threat that requires serious attention and action.
Did you read from a teleprompter? What was this… Liked every other episode. Not this one.
jesus…. people don't waste your whole 5 minutes.
Seen the short for this and can not believe what a nothing burger this is.
yawn…….embarrassing to even put this sort of crap out.
Dana White said you cured his snoring, would love to hear how this was accomplished.
Thank you for the share Gary!!
Reading from a prompt and cutting and editing the whole video… pfffff
Hey Gary, can I use distilled hydrogen water in my cpap?
So no reason for the increase in so many people suffering with this? What is causing it? Maybe too many dentists rushing to remove wisdom teeth….making the jaw smaller……somebody has to figure this out.
25 YEARS now of UNTREATED severe sleep apnea! Went from a strong weightlifter, motorcycle rider, international traveler, etc to almost homebound due to daily fatigue. FOUR doctors over 25 years have done nothing but throw a cpap prescription my way after a short visit. Cpap never helped, dental device didn't help, no meds ever helped, no diet changes a thing. I'm not fat (ideal high school weight in fact), no thick neck, no gasping for air at night, NONE OF IT. But I DO wake up as if I never slept! EVERYDAY. It wears on one no matter how strong one is. Does ANYONE know a university, hospital, group of Drs, etc that might want to look at this enigma (i.e…me)? I suspect CENTRAL sleep apnea or something else due to me being a mouthbreather (2 dr's casually mentioned "mixed apneas"). How does one go from very active in life to almost homebound with NO ACCIDENT, NO WEIGHT GAIN, NO EVENT that would cause such a DRASTIC change in quality of life. It started at age 39 and continues now into my early 60's. Thank you anyone.
a five minute nothing burger.
Sad this want more in depth or helpful. I’ve suffered from SA for a decade
Could that have been done in 1 take? Way too choppy…
Hey Gary, why was this episode different? It seemed to me like the entire script was written by ChatGPT or another AI tool. I'm 100% confident the introduction was. AI loves to use words such as pioneering, "uncover hidden intracies," "promises to be a comprehensive"… etc. I, like many others, would prefer quality over quantity!
Thank you ❤
The live seems to have crashed.
Hey Gary, I really appreciate you and your work. The passion for what you do really shines through as you are teaching. At some point in the future I’d really like to hear your thoughts on eosinophils and how they relate to eosinophilic esophagitis and eosinophilic asthma. Again thank you. You’ve already inspired me to action to be more intentional about my health and habits.
