I was hoping that the mother would apologize from the very beginning, instead of just acting like everything was fine. folks have an issue with accountability, yes you changed and you are better now but you still have to be accountable for the pain you caused others in the past. I'm sorry pair so much better than, pretending like it never happened or telling someone to get over it passive-aggressively.
