Do not "grip" with your fingers, this does absolutely nothing. If you end up going over, you could quite easily break your fingers. This is not good advice.
honestly as long as you just spread your fingers and keep them shoulder width, you don’t need to do the finger grabby thing, i’ve never done that and i’ve done handstands for years.
when the short is more helpful than most tutorials. i have been practicing handstands for over a year now with little progress, and this one video has just giving some of the best tips. balancing on our feet is so natural to us that we forget how we keep steady. basically a handstand is getting you hands replicate what your feet do. thanks a million
