  1. I'm a 51 yr old female! I recently started listening to Gary! I'm obsessed with all the information that he explains so well to his audience! I now read labels on everything! Can't believe the shit i have bought for 30 yrs! I pray for the day when MD's get educated on how to heal people through diet and supplemetation! Keep it up Gary! I feel so much better in 6 weeks!

  2. I wake up at 1:30am 5 days a week. Train from 2-4 am include cardio pre-weights and then various hypertrophy splits, usually 2 bodyparts superesetted and core and calves every other session. I'm 50 years old and have been weight training both for bodybuilding and overall fitness and longevity for 33 years.I have no pain in my body and at 45 years old started a low dosage testosterone replacement therapy and I feel better and move better than when I was in my 20s. and competing in drug free bodybuilding. Musclecentric lifestyle is so important. I'm so glad I established the habits as a teen and they are non-negotiables. Great podcast thank you Gary and Dr. Lyon.

  3. Agressive preuuit of discomfort sounds lidgical. Built houses for 50 years. Now There is DISCOMFORT. Now sedimentary lifestyle 7years. I have to go back to it before it is TOO LATE. cheers

  4. Thanks for clarifying protein needs, chloresterol/ eggs. There is so much disagreement about this in the health space from Valter Longo to Mark Sisson it is very confusing. As a active single 65 year old maintaining muscle mass, mobility and independence is my ultimate goal. I don't think I've been getting enough! I plan to add more protein and see what happens.

  5. Geeking out on Gary Brecka’s content has become my newest hobby. I’ve made some simple changes to my lifestyle that have had gigantic positive impacts in health and wellbeing. Love the female specific content – in particular, would love to know about what’s possible for pregnancy and breastfeeding in terms of safe biohacking. We struggle with weight gain/loss, sleep deprivation and emotional stressors in the aftermath. Plus, I know we’re all wondering how we can be better, more ultimate humans for our loved ones. Fingers crossed this is something Gary can take a deep dive into!

  6. Fantastic revelation for me that RDA is just a minimum of dosage.I was right to think that we should supplement much more .No wonder people are become unwell.Once I told my mother to take lots vit C like 10x of RDA and she said NO because vit C damage the bones. This is the damage that she is dealing with right now because she doesn’t take vitC because of the fear.

  7. I am 60 years old on June 24. Yesterday I started doing strength training when a year ago I had an TIA mini stroke, My A1c is slightly elevated, my muscles are weak, I can’t carry heavy things. My cardiologist Dr. Phillip Anderson, Advent Health cardiologist in FL, told me to start strength training to built my muscles and I will see myself losing the weight I’ve been struggling with. My life is very sedentary. So yesterday I started doing strength training and now I happened to find this channel and how it’s important to built muscle. In a year, my health has improved but my muscles are weak. I am happy I bumped into this channel. Thank you and I will continue to built my muscle for even though I hit 60, it’s just a number and I want to be healthy and live my life actively and not sedentary.

  8. My ex doctor would not stop prescribing me statin even though I called and told her it made me very ill. I’m currently taking 500mg of Metformin and I really do not want to continue taking them. I check my numbers daily and they are great numbers. I am type 2 and this is the only scripts I take. I just turned 70 and noticed I’ve loss a lot of muscle mass and I am experiencing lots of aches. I currently just moved to NC and my new home has lots of stairs which is good for me since I’m not getting into a gym but I love your videos and guest you have! Love the Hydrogen water also. I am looking forward along with my sister to improve our health👍❤️… TY SO MUCH GARY… 😊

  9. You just brought in the most fabulous lady ever! I loved her book and feel blessed to be listening again to her views❤
And her e-mail messages are awesome, thank you Gabriel… Functional medicine also has to pay homage to dr.Jeffery Bland!!!🎉

  10. I'm all in with Dr. Gabrielle Lyon's muscle-centric medicine approach she talks about in her podcast. It's super clear how important our muscles are for staying healthy and strong, especially as we age. She makes it easy to understand why we should care about building and maintaining muscle. Definitely worth listening to if you're into keeping fit and active.

  11. I was told by an oncologist during hospice volunteer training that older people would break their hip and fall. Not the other way around. This was 27 years ago and I've never heard anyone else say it. I definitely believe it though. Gary, you are opening peoples eyes to so many health benefits that don't cost anything!

  12. I’m 40 more with 4 kids under 8 years old. I get up at 2 am every week day to get my workout in. Been in this routine for 15 years. I can definitely feel it when I miss a day. Not only good for physical health but also mental health.

  13. "essential" in terms of amino acids means ones that your body does not produce – so you much get them via food sources. It does not mean you will die without them (you may well die without them, but that's not what the term refers to in this context).

Edited to add, these 9 essential Amin acids are: histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine
