Fabulous architecture.
Wrong Ancient Egypt didn't stop being ancient Egypt with Alexander. Turns out there were invaders of Egypt long before that, and when Alexander showed up, he was viewed as a liberator, and like so many other areas, honored the local customs so he was not a destroyer of Egyptian culture and religion, and that is why later his general becomes a Pharaoh, like Alexander was crowned too. Sot hat they didn't stop Egypt being ancient Egypt in the sense most aspects would be considered the way of life the ancient Egyptians led. Rather if there there is an 'end' to that lifestyle, it would be found in an earlier period and again, when Alexander comes, whatever survived of ancient Egyptian culture re-flourished for a time, with a Hellenized form.
Acutally, no they did not say 'hey let's create another god'. Instead, they realized that the different gods, seemed strikingly similar, and recognized the deep affinity so that they realize these are the same god, under different names, in different cultures and places, and perhaps different times, but essentially they are the same god.
Geez it sounds like what we're going through now. Bunch of chickens running around calling each other chicken.
This explains how you get a Hebrew and it was a white pharaoh that was chasing them
When Roma Gypsies first came to Europe in Greece( today Turkye), they were known as "Egyptians" due to their "says" or stories that claimed that they came from Little Egypt and where originally slaves of the Egyptian Pharaohs. We called us Roman Egyptians ,becose EGYPT was part of Roman empire ,ROMAN REPUBLIC . In Greece the called us ROMANO GITANOS- ROMAN EGYPTIAN- ROMA GYPSY ….How did Egypt become Roman?
. The rich lands of Egypt became the property of Rome ,Roman republic ,after the death of Cleopatra VII in 30 BCE, which spelled the end of the Ptolemaic dynasty that had ruled Egypt since the death of Alexander the Great in 323 BCE. After the murder of Gaius Julius Caesar in 44 BCE, the Roman Republic was left in turmoil. (32–30 BC) was the last civil war of the Roman Republic, fought between Mark Antony (assisted by Cleopatra and by extension Ptolemaic Egypt) and Octavian. In 32 BC, Octavian convinced the Roman Senate to declare war on the Egyptian queen Cleopatra
This was very interesting to watch but I think it kind of proves how fake Christianity is its always been about convert and join me or die and in the Bible it says don't make fun of someone for having a different faith but In the same sentence says there can only be one true God and that's me like what that really don't make sense also the Bible is full of hypocrite talk stepped away from Christianity at 14 years of age and it was one of the best choices I've made reglion is simply a construct for the masses for them to fill a void a hole of not understanding so they say oh it must be God also if you look at it in our modern day religion is and can be used as tool to enslave your mind to make you one of the masses instead of a individual thinker so many people are asleep they would rather let there God and there government do the thinking for them so they can be dead minded sheep instead of sharp minded wolf's
So it’s “untold” is it? What are you talking about untold? … I learnt nothing I didn’t already know….
Elizabeth Taylor playing cleopatra was blasphemy 😂
Halfway thru and nothing shocking. Or interesting AT ALL!
lame i was hoping for more then cleopatra died and the romans became christian.
You should do 1 on the latins, the ppl who became known as romans.
"Also known as the Byzantine Empire at this point."
False. The term Byzantine Empire was coined long after the fall of Constantinople by westerners. Contemporary eastern Romans continued to call themselves Roman until the end.
I think by now we know the Egyptians were not white
I love how every shot of what’s supposed to represent Cleopatra is a white woman . 😂
The term "Byzantine Empire" was coined by renaissance historians to distinguish them from the Western Roman Empire. However, both the Eastern and the Western Roman Empires referred to themselves as 'Romans' despite the fact that the former spoke Greek instead of Latin.

ConSTANtinople. Not Constinople.
Bhaha why the disclaimer at the start of every video? It gets old after only a few vids watched. It's history! Obviously things were a bit more savage than nowadays. Imagine if every history book had a disclaimer. DUMB. Also gotta love the censoring of Muhammad (clown world) Stop catering the radicals online; who get offended by everything. That tactic doesn't work; they will only demand more censoring and will always get offended. It's their hobby. Like children who control and manipulate their parents by throwing tempertantrubs.
Ha ha. "She came to power in 52 BC….by 30 BC, Cleopatra was facing a grim reality"….uh, yeah…she was zeroing in on 40 years old ! If she'd been a Hollywood vixen, she'd have been out on her ass !! 40 was pretty old back then !!
