This might actually be one of my favorite films.
Great movie!
The character of Anaka is so well drawn. And so true to life. I don't know if this is how you meant her to be, but I would like to offer some thoughts and interpretations on her.
To me she encapsulates what it is to be a girl, a woman, a female.
A sexbot.
A woman is turned into a sexbot (something we expect all women to be), but deep down she is a young girl and dying, a young girl saved only by suppressing who she deep within her consciousness. She cannot remember who she really is, because it would overwhelm her. She doesn't even know she is no longer human. (or is she?).
She travels far to undo what's been done to humans. (but also unbeknownst to her: to undo what has been done to her. The closer she got to the 'core' (of herself?) the more her programming became undone and she began to remember who she really is and ultimately that she was put into the body of a sexbot, a robot.
Everyone knew but her (I find this genius!).
When she discovers what she is she asks, "Do I even have a soul?" (or is she now something that must endure their existence as some kind of stored memory?)
She is partly angry that this has been done to her.
Anaka, feels to me like the story of every woman and the expectations of her to become what is expected of her.
In the end, she says she is no one. I find this is rather sad.
There are many other questions to answer: what does it mean to be human, are we more than some sort of AI ourselves? We seem to driven 'to do' without question. How are we so different. Is that drive nothing more than programming?
Thank you for doing this kind of movie. These are just some thoughts I would like to offer. None of this is meant to be what I think you were saying, necessarily. It's just my take on it.

That was a Bloody (Aussie vernacular) good movie. Good story good scenery and effects and acting PS the lead was talented and more, drop dead gorgeous.

As far as b rated movies go, this a c. You have a middle aged woman with "assets" and low end special effects trying to make a movie. It's almost sad.
