I love RDR2 and RDO just being out in the woods, listening to the Crickets, Crows and Whippoorwills, reminds me of living out in the country as a kid, that's why I always turn off any music.

Think they want to be like World of Tanks and that's good if you want to have an extra stable or horses you pay $ World of Tanks is always adding new content it's great buy what you want or just keep what you have and play the game
This feels like a TERRIBLE move for RD2/RD2 Online fans due to the fact that we're not getting any ongoing support or new content and there's zero news of any development for a RD3, so moving to a paid model for a abandoned game is just a poke in the eye. That said, I can see why they'd want to bring a premium plan in-house for GTA because this is where their focus is and with a new GTA6 being developed having the player base already testing out any premium plan changes makes a lot of sense to workout things prior to a GTA6 launch.
No matter what, if the plan is to move to any sort of monthly subscription model then the rewards would have to be awesome unless it's a free to play game. Sure, the most devoted players will try it out but video games already cost a pretty penny so any additional costs have to feel good enough to pay for a bundle (vs offering specific micro transactions for cosmetics which feel very different since they're pick and choose vs bundles or subscriptions).

I am in favor in paying a monthly subscription just like GTA has that option. I have been playing RDR2 online for just over a year and I love this game. I try to play it at least once a day. Have three different characters (accounts) two on PlayStation 5 and one character (account) in Xbox X Series. I just want new content and new stuff. Most likely I will only subscribed, if RockStar offers such subscription, to my main character (the first one I created)! I am all for it !!
Problem is Rockstar never developed red dead online. They had little add on but nothing like gta online. They killed it from the beginning. It shoulda had a next gen update but didn't. That should tell you something right there. It's a dead game…. I love playing it but im not going to put time into a game that isn't getting updates

Why would I pay money for a service with no new content??? It would be different if they were guaranteeing a title update every 6 months, and I mean a legit update. It saddens me. I wish I wouldn't have restarted my account. I thought I would be able to rebuild, but this throws a bit of a wrench in the gears….
If I take my point. I like Red Dead enough to enjoy a Red Dead plus even though the state of the game and maybe see a update to red dead out but that would be quite something! 😅😄😕

This was a dumb idea definitely not buying GTA+ because I’m sick of that game now if they release a RDO+ I’ll definitely buy it because I prefer RDO over GTA Online.
I mean, GTA+ is only $6 and they’ve been hooking it up pretty good the last few months, but I agree they can definitely do more for the veteran players

im sorry but am i the only one who think rockstar should answer for what they have done to gta5 and rdr2 im a big RDR2 fan and i have been playing the game sinse release and though out 2022 and now 2023 so far the biggest up date we got was some discounts like come on gta5 not to long ago had another up date drugwars: last dose. I think I speak for the hole RDR2 community when i say we want more updates because i fully believe that if RDR2 had as meany updates and DLCS as GTA5 it would make more money than GTA5 is right now
