Had exact situation happen today. Two lane highway, I’m in the right lane, a new lane appears coming off another road, but it enters as a TURN lane not a merge…Jeep comes flying in on the turn lane but apparently didn’t want to turn, so he just came right over into the my lane. I was in his blind spot when he jumped over (I had the right of way the whole time) so I gave him a little honk to let him know I was there…dude loses his mind and starts flipping and screaming hanging out the window. So…you almost hit me, because you didn’t slow down or look to see if I was there, were coming to an exit you didn’t want to get off, but were going too fast and had to either slow down or jump off…and you’re mad at me for occupying the space you wanted to be in. It’s always the people who are just so entitled who think every move they make is the correct one, even when they’re being super aggressive and usually completely wrong. Is it low IQ, lack of common sense, or just straight up dumbness? And they get so angry and adamant about their dumbness…ok tough guy…nice ducks

I'm confused. If the driver said he sped up then why is he also not liable? They got over because they believe they had the space to get over. The cop felt threatened that he was going to sue and considered that a threat?
Heaven forbid they slow down and merge in nicely and now to keep mouth shut impossible.

This cop was just looking to write tickets and ruin somebodies day.
The guy was speaking a hypothetical. He never said he was going to do something.
He said if that’s what that guy said this is what would’ve done.
That’s not a threat.
Then, the officer tried to abuse his power and gave the unlawful command of, “keep your mouth shut”.
To which, the person responded with I have freedom of speech. Which, he did.
The cop just didn’t like the fact that he didn’t bow to his feet and suck the polish off his boots.
