Eh.. you have to find the unknown little jewels in town from good insiders. If any negative thoughts and vibes from people about it, is due to corrupt politics for multiplied decades affected the culture; the bureaucrats don't give a hoot about the city except for their own self n' cronnies interests and the residents are slaves to that system. Politics there needs gutted.
What I like about Philly? It certainly is not our POS law makers/law breakers nor is it Pat's, Geno's or Tony Luke's. The best cheese steaks are from a local pizza joint. Sadly, If coming to Philly be sure to have a license to carry, (know the State laws) several loaded magazines & wear your plate carriers smfh. When I was younger I liked going to the Franklin Institute Museum, the Spectrum for Rock concerts, Independence Hall & the Liberty Bell.
