  1. One of those performances that captures the magic. I heard that Bobby Hatfields mother was in the audience that night.
The version that they used in Ghost was the Righteous Brothers but the studio version. This is the best version that I have ever heard. He takes it to a different level. The idea that you could go out there in front of a small live studio audience and do this, incredible.
Bobby Hatfield practiced relaxing his face a lot when he sang. You'll notice a lot of singers when they strain for a high note their face is scrunch up. He didn't think that had to be. That's why it looks so effortless, but there's a lot of breath control going on there.
Do yourself a favor and watch this version. The colorization is much better and you get to see some banter between Bobby Hatfield and the other member of the Righteous Brothers, Bill Medley. They talk about how their group got its name. Enjoy! Thanks for your reaction.

  2. Theres 2 of them. Put in the song (you know this song too) "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" by the Righteous Brothers. You'll see both of them tear it up. The reactions when people see it are hilarious. Most thought You Lost That Loving. Feeling was sung a black group. Enjoy n thanks for the vibes!

  3. Bobby Hatfield of the Righteous Brothers (in this video) IS the original singer of the song. His version is the one that's in all the movie soundtracks.

  4. I typed in on YouTube the righteous Brothers unchained Melody rap reactions the first time hearing it. I must’ve went through 31 people viewing this song and reacting to it. I gotta say you were the best. You’re now on my list and I’m a subscriber. You are so awesome. Your reaction was true. Well came from the heart.

  5. Bobby singing this song still gives me goosebumps and brings tears to my eyes… so beautiful and mesmerizing, he casts a spell over you with his angelic voice and then blows you away with his vocal range in octaves of 4-5, which only opera singers are capable of… still brings tears to this 65 yo white woman’s eyes. Bobby died of a heart attack at 63 after heavy cocaine usage and a failed marriage. There will never be another Bobby Hatfield, ever❤️

  6. Don't like you you couldn't carry a tune even in a bucket 3 seconds in turned out the volume made my comment and then hit do not recommend so no more of your videos don't show up

  7. As I understand it, Bobby was nervous because his Mom was in the audience, also he had an awful cold and still belted it out. Amazing! He had an amazing range, he was a rare, counter tenor, over 5 octaves. The Righteous Brothers started the blue eye soul singing.

  8. ❤❤This is the SINGULARLY LEGENDARY PERFORMANCE 'live' of the one & only Magnificent Bobby Hatfield, R.I.P-see also on You Tube 'Summertime' song by Bobby Hatfield as well TRULY a unique DIAMOND singer no one has ever sounded like him ❤️ ♥️
