I gotta say, the actress who portrayed her did a stellar job because the mannerisms and blatant lying is on point here.
One of the unintentionally funny things about this show is the she male casting. I mean, to me, he already still looks like a guy, and when they’re on the tube and Donny doesn’t want to kiss him because all the other riders can tell that’s a man and when Martha knocks Teri over and says you look like a man, that’s got to get into that she male actor’s head: you were hired to play a she male character but you also have to look enough like a man still for the plot. 😂😂😂😂

She's right about 'Ordinary Degrees'. These are not graded first, 2:1, 2:2 like honours degrees. You simply pass or don't. She seems quite erratic in places, but I don't disbelieve her whole story. I'd like to see a debate between her and Richard Gadd.
Fiona could easily win her lawsuit if she hires Jessica Gunning to stand in for her in the courtroom. Jessica would definitely be a more convincing witness than Fiona.

According to classic theories of “truth” there are definitely very good reasons to believe that this woman is the character in the series and that also that the fundamentals of the narrative in the series are true.
At the same time, it may not be true (= it is not 100% unlikely) that the woman in this clip is not speaking the truth about who she is. It could be that the woman in the interview has nothing to do with the show or the narrative, but that she is seeking attention by portraying herself as being the real version of the character.
Just giving some perspective….
I just watched Baby Reindeer and then the interview on Pierre Morgan.
From the series ,I think they both have big issues and have more in Common than they know.
After watching her interview, it seems like he was on the look out for a real character, to write a part for.
I've read the comments under the interview and it seems I am alone in that thought.
It's possible she was being recorded in the bar or real life to help with creating the character.

Im gonna go out on a whim and say she woudnt be able to sue because they changed the identities of the the characters so hes not saying it was her. So its an assumption. And also i think if it did get taken to court, it would be dropped with th abundance of evidence he has and actual police reports. Its his life. He has proof that he endured it.

Fiona talks about having a photographic memory 49:46. In the series, Donnie also marveled at Martha's memory while listening to her messages. A small detail, but very important, as for me, in understanding who is truthful.
I really think she does nót tell the truth. Hasn't seen the show, but agrees that every detail someone told her about it.. And of course there are made up scènes in the show, Gadd won't deny that i think. She loves the attention.

I dont think this is a black and white or its her /not her situation. I think that she probably had some bad behavior with a guy she was involved with- which we are probably all guilty of when we are younger. And I think Gadd took some liberties to add or embellishment details for dramatic effect.
She does seem a little off though, perhaps one of those people who seriously believe that they didnt do the things they just did earlier that day. My mom is like that. She denies she did all kinds of shit that she 100% did. I used to think she was a liar but now i think its a mental disorder.
And Gadd is messed up, too. As he says in the show, he had multiple chances to squash the relationship but the attention that he got felt good- so he carried it on. I think they both contributed to the situation but only he is making money off it. Not sure if that is right or not.
