Fast food has been inching up for a long time now. It's been a slow increase, but thanks to inflation they had to jack the cost up too harshly. My standing order at McDonalds is a double quarter-pounder meal. A decade ago, it was 8 bucks, bordering on 9. Then the next year it was 9.25. Next year, it was 9.60. Next year it was 10. Then 10.30, etc etc etc.
In my area, today, a large #3 (double quarter-pounder meal) is $10.59, before tax (price checked via mobile app). After taxes, it's 11 and some change.
I love living in rural Arkansas. We're the last to get hit by these price hikes. I couldn't imagine living in urban areas.

The think that gets me is they change more and give less food and the quality is bad . I grow my one food hunt my meats and have cut my costs to less than when Trump was president

In my opinion every time a place goes out of business the next place seems to be more expensive.

Interest rates have been low for too long. These companies have grown comfortable , and now that's it's time to show profit , they are going bust

In Houston, I can eat at an AYCE Asian restaurant for less than the cost of a Big Mac Combo Meal, but you do get a drink with the BMCM.
Honestly I’d have no problem paying that if the food was good and wasn’t full with these preservatives. I’d vote Democrat if they focused on that, but nooooo they wanna talk about pay.
People that work at fast food gotta realize we go there out of convenience… I can 100% could a better healthier piece of food than McDonald’s/Burger King, etc.

I would say GOOD. People need to learn how to cook! WAY better food. I don't like the downfall of these crutches, but I do hope an eye opening happens! Eventually there will be no more fast food and you are going to have to learn to cook a meal for your family. Plus, you know what goes into your food! No downside to this!
