As a PC player I'm fine with a lower player base as it means less hackers and greifers

Really just hope they add ps5 patch I mean there is no excuse as to why it’s taking this long. So many other company’s have released patches supporting it in no time

I feel like red dead online and the story shouldn’t try to make way for eachother. If it was just two different universes with the same map, the grays/braithwaites estates, Johns ranch, and the ranch he worked for would all be up for grabs.
Very idiotic thinking this game was gonna die online just after three years.
This isn't like one of those stupid EA gootball games that die the next year they were released.
This game is going to be played forever like an old fightcade game from arcades.

Yeeeaaaa came back to it after over year. Still no hardcore mode, still garbage players jumping with auto aim, still nothing to do. Deleted after 30 minutes.
They should add Guarma from story mode

Me and my friend are constantly talking about shit they could have added in
Like, if you’re into the idea of RPG gaming or hardcore survivalists, literally do that
Make separate servers for the normal RDO and the type who are into surviving with real players
(What would suck tho, if it were to become like Fallout 76 if it were to happen)
They should keep hardcore game mode because seems like real skill
They need to add houses for you to own and boats you can own
Not one of those boats to row but one of those boats that go out to the sea
You could use it as a way to go through the map via the waters or to transport trader goods for a decent amount of cash
You could run into players who could pirate your ass
Like just think how cool that could be
A battle on water (although the spawning would suck I’d imagine so high risk, high reward maybe?)
Also the boat could be customizable and you’re able to enter and exit
And what I mean enter and exit
I mean without the loading screen
Because having to enter a building with a loading screen breaks the immersion heavily
It just sucks in general
Do you know why people leave? Because of exploiters and modders that ruins the game and Rockstar not doing anything about it. Sucks when you are trying to get things done and getting exploded, forcing you to change sessions and losing whatever is stowed on your horse.
All sales, metrics, and other numbers and grafts aside, I would say yes. The game is not in a good place from a player POV.
We don't need more currency types, minor challenges and missions to grind out.
We need a BIG update, a worthy update that will make people jump back in and STAY in.
All of my friends have fallen off, so the game is basically dead to me no matter what the numbers say.
And honestly I don't see any point in the near future where RDO stops playing second fiddle to gta, RDO feels totally neglected.
Rockstar knows it too, but just doesn't seem to care. I don't see any real way to spin this as a positive.

Woop, there it is – "We need to see a follow up to an incredible update". I keep waiting for Rockstar to wow me, but the way that they've treated these new DLCs for RDO is just depressing.
I want to love this game again, but they're making it really difficult when each DLC release is less and less appealing. I wish they would expand the roles out, add new horses/coat colors, and add new territory. The homesteading aspect that has been thrown around for a while would also be interesting.
Bro… the shit that pisses me off is… I personally would LOVE to stream red dead related content, IF THERE ACTUALLY WAS ANY CONTENT TO PLAY. I have all my desired ability cards maxed, I have money to buy whatever I want, as if I don’t already have everything I want 😂. There isn’t anything to do, and it’s sad cause Rockstar could be making MILLIONS on a monthly basis through micro transactions if they were anywhere near as consistent with updating Red Dead as they have been freaking GTA.
The last content update blood money was not fun …. it was no fun . The game feels like it's had no graphic updates in along time .
Id like to make it free to play on ps4 not to have to buy it and still pay to pay to PLAY A GAME U PAYED FOR
im my opinion. one of the main reason why new players are pulling the plug on rdo is because the older players done give up much of a chance to get anywhere in the game as far as leveling up goes. i hardly get to complete my moonshine and traders delivery because of then. and that were i would get my money from.
Wat rockstar should be focusing more on making the stuff they added already along the years more fun and not make them boring , wat they can do is take out the timer system in general

Bandit role please! Aliens anyone? They are in the story mode. Some missions with the scientist. How about raiding the forts in the game? Battles! A jailbreak from the actual prison! So many missed opportunities

Yeah Rockstar has really let the game slip further and further into the red, and it's obvious they don't really plan on changing that. When they hardcore ignored the game for 7 months, I think RDO was damaged beyond repair at that point. I'm looking at some new games that are western themed, such as Weird West and West of Dead. I've pretty much given up on RDO. GTA Online is Rockstar's focus and it's pointless to try to keep RDO alive by complaining to Rockstar because it's obvious they have hit the mute button on us. Money is the only language they understand, and RDO doesn't even make a fraction of what GTAO does. So, as hard as it is to do, I have to finally walk away from Red Dead Online. I don't want to, but I'm tired of tweeting and messaging Rockstar about this game and pretty much just being ignored.

Technically, No but when you play the game and just feel alone in this big map…it feels like it. R* is literally refusing money from the community, I say this as more and more people would play and appreciate this game if they just simply added more creative and spaghetti fun western CONTENT. Blood money was fine but just disappointing especially with lack of things to buy, the Call to Arms is AMAZING but sadly whenever I try to play there’s only 1other person that plays and if I get a full team if we fail ONCE people say it’s not worth it and will leave. R* is leaving money on the table by NOT adding the content the community has consistently begged for since BEFORE Launch. I believe the team working on this game just don’t give af, and it shows.

With us players, I feel we can do way more in terms of content than Rockstar. The way they’re treating there player base is yeah let’s make this game die a very slow death. The Winter update or Christmas update, needs to be EPIC, like GTA epic
