Since August 20th seems like THE DAY for the update (At least that I have seen mentioned more than any other Tuesday) Then we should see some type of newswire TOMORROW showcasing more teases, giving us a release date and (hopefully) a TRAILER. People can only be patient for so long for this update. I don’t know why speculate if nothing has confirmed the release date.
Rockstar pushed a 200MB update to me last night about 2 hours before the Daily Challenge rollover (9pm PDT). Haven't seen much of anything else from them in the way of data this week.
it's gonna be like the casino and spring update just few days and then get bored again and wait for autumn update

Even if they don't I won't be surprised or disappointed things like this take time and finalization so a rushed update would leave most people just as unhappy as no update
I doubt it'll drop August 20th. But if this Gamescom starts August 20th and ends August 24th then hopefully we get more information on the Summer Update within the Gamescom time frame. If not, I won't be surprised. Rockstar is unpredictable it seems. They follow the beat of a different drummer. But honestly, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if the Summer Update dropped on the very last day of Summer. I hope that's not the case but I'm not getting my hopes up anymore on something.

Can you make videos on how much money you think we need to purchase items in the summer DLC, example prices on wagons, potentially new horses.
Honestly I can see them drop the Morning Tail Coat and the Gator Hat during the summer update which could drop next Tuesday. EVERYONE wants that coat and hat. With all the new things that would come out. It would make sense for R* to drop those clothes so players would push to get some gold bars since that coat and hat were actually pricey as hell!
