  1. This video was prepared VERY late last night/early this morning after my stream and I didn't include the screenshots of each shotgun's stats.. WOW RIP… I did it in my best and worst repeaters video and that is the essential piece of info for the videos in this series. I apologize and I hope you still enjoyed and gained some knowledge nonetheless. You can expect weapon stats images to return in my next best/worst video!

For quick reference I will include the in this pinned comment

  2. 11:45…. Wrong. The amount of times some griefer has shot me in the head for no reason, my hat flies off (Never Without One) I activate SB (Slippery Bastard) pull out my shotgun and kill them… (or in a pinch because I don’t always have a shotgun on me and I’m on foot, a single revolver fan fired will almost always a slap do the job) It happens almost every day…

  3. I mean you should have a PvP and a PvE list. I prefer the pump action in general but it’s definitely best in PvE. And the repeater, which sucks in PvP is probably second best in PvE.

  4. These stats make no sense. Like the double barrel has a fire rate of 60 and the repeater has a fire rate of 50? So the double barrel only fires like 15% faster than the repeater? But you can fire the repeater as quickly as you can pull the trigger twice. Bam Bam. There’s is no way it’s only 15% faster…

  5. Rockstar should add a customisation where you can saw off the stock for the repeating shotgun like in terminator 2, because the repeating shotgun is based off of the 1887 chiappa winchester, and while riding your horse you can one hand cock it like this

  6. I'd say pump action's the best though I've only gotten to use it on "name your weapon" (you can pick it up in maps like Tall Trees and Annesburg), and I just shred everyone while people use the provided weapons in the game mode. Double barrel takes the cake for dmg but I've noticed I can get the same results with the same amount of shots with the pump action, even at longer ranges
Edit: I also rely more on dual sawed offs than a double barrel, because SOMETIMES people survive more than 2 shotgun shells, either due to lag or tonics and whatnot

  7. The first shotgun I got was the reapeatuing shotgun and it felt like you could it get a one shot kill even if it was point blank on players so I swapped to the pump and now it feels like it has more range.

  8. I just picked up the Semi had been using Rare and Repeating. For PVE I usually keep a dual wield Sawd offs and then a Rife and Repeater. When doing missions or clearing hideouts I like to use the repeating SG or Rare depending upon how I feel.

  9. I like the content and format but I totally disagree with you and rockstar for my play style. We run different main cards and I’ve only recently gotten back into using dead eye. Not fully confident with either card sets I run with yet though. Gun preference may change as I use my cards more often.

  10. I’ve gone back and forth between the double barrel and semi auto. Yes, you can basically laser people with the DB. The main reasons I prefer the semi is because I find myself going up against multiple players at once or if my first two shots decide to potato, I have 3 more shells. Whereas with the db, you’d be screwed in that situation.

  11. Pump Action Shotgun for the win!!!☆♤◇♧ Because it looks tougher and very realistic against the western backdrop… My inspiration for this Gun came about the "The Wild Bunch" Film. Even the Gun sounds look greatest and awesome. R.I.P Griefers lmfaooo

  12. I'd gladly pay $10 a month for the option to load into lobbies where there were no ability cards. Just 100% raw fighting skill. That would make a wider variety of guns more viable in combat. You could still have tonics but everyone would be on an even playing field. God that would be better than passive lobbies even!

  13. Maybe a bit unrelated, but i got problems in pvp locking onto people. I got my settings all the way up except the dead zone being all the way down. I get plenty situations when there is two enemies, and instead of locking onto the one right in front of me, it locks me onto the one thats far away…

  14. My self, I'm a shot gun junky. I personally own at least one shotgun from the game in real life. So of course I had to have one of each in the game. And honestly I play with them all. Just depends on what I'm feeling. I have noticed a slight Nerf on them at some recent point. I have tagged a griz with paint and streak with slugs with my double and he still got in on me to kill me. This has happened twice. And players seem to live a little more often when tagged with shot guns.

  15. Thank you Zack! I love watching you wreck people with the double barrel in PvP! P.S. can you please do a video on horse saddles and what the associated plus/minus numbers mean? Thanks bud!

  16. If you use any double barreled SG, you will also get extra xp for killing an enemy with the last round. While that occurs to all weapons, it will happen more often when using a double barreled SG.
The sawed off SG comes in
handy when you are hunting and you are already carrying a rifle and the varmint rifle for example. If you use slugs, you will have a good backup weapon, in case you are surprised by a predator.
If you don't want to buy too many guns buying the varmint rifle and the rare SG early in the game might be an option. Use the rare SG to LVL up by playing the missions and use the varmint rifle for hunting. Go for beavers because they are categorised as small game but the pelts can be sold for a relatively high price. At LVL 44 you unlock SG slugs. You can make a clean kill on big game with slugs given you are close enough. So your SG becomes a hunting rifle at that point.
That might not be the best loadout for the rdr2 try hards out there but it will save you money and might be nice for role play. So if you don't like the idea of running around with a whole arsenal of weapons these two guns are enough to get the job done.
