A cowboy role would be great. Herding animals across the map and protecting them. Camping with them at night.
Wilderness camp it's only reason I bought the naturalist on my 2nd character .
I could not believe how much I missed fast travel from almost anywhere in the map straight to camp instead of riding to the nearest town for fast travel .
2024 I started with the collectors role. Jean Ropke website and you don't need to buy maps unless its a daily quest.

I like telling new players this I'm knew so I'm learning to if you play with a friend one who ever plays more out of the two friends goes with collector and the other goes bounty hunter so they get huge xp and cash and gold
I’m doing the roles in order of, bounty hunter, collector, trader, naturalist, moonshiner. So I finished bounty hunter at rank 30 and now i’m doing collector. The problem is it’s way too fucking boring and i hate the fact that u need the whole set to be paid well, otherwise $7.5 a card which is obviously shit. I’m still at rank 2 so I just started with collector but still though godamn

My roles is always bounty hunting with friends and trader role along with naursalest for the legendary.
My homies and I will do the Etta Doyle bounty and just sit in saint denis fighting NPC’s while we wait for the timer to go down, we always wait the full thirty for that good payout, thanks for the vids hazard!
Me personally I’d switch trader and moonshiner just for the fact that moonshiner is passive
In my honest opinion i think moonshiner and bounty hunter roles arr best

I love the hunting aspect of this game and honestly, it's the only thing I like doing when I roam.
I really don't like PVP that's why I much rather be a Trophy hunter……but that isn't an option so I never play online….

Should I get collector next or moonshiner? I have the gold saved up
We should have more business roles, like opening a shop and selling items you make/buy or maybe you raise animals like horses cows sheep, etc and you have to defend your property from animal thief’s, or like a fisherman role where you buy a boat and fish for big fish and sell them to clients. Kind of like trader. These are just some of my ideas.
I want a farmer role where I help my Master on the farm.

i was excited for the naturalist role thinking it would be a cool hunting job. But the fact that Harriet is an animal activist means that I can’t actually hunt animals. Kinda dumb. I hate her character portrayal.

If you make a vote for "best role in the game" and you use it to rank all roles, your ranking means nothing, because you asked specifically for the best, not for a ranking.
People don't agree Naturalist is the worst role, they agree that it's not the best, which is not the same thing at all.

Hey bud, don’t know if you’ll see this. I just wanted to say thanks for the effort that you put into this video. I’ve been playing RDR since 2018 but I’m new to Online. The last time I played it, none of this was available so I was very overwhelmed. Thanks for breaking it down my man. Naturally, I went for the naturalist role (which sucks because the people rated it the worst) but in this game I’m big on animals, pelts, plants, and crafted gear from said animals. This is literally perfect for me. I didn’t know why to expect from this role, considering I’m new. But it works out well. I just didn’t want to put in hours of effort and money into role, if it wasn’t going to be beneficial. Again, Thanks for breaking it down.
I started 7 days ago and first bought the bounty then the collector used the collector map and collected everything on the map and got 6000$

Collector is the best money making role
The Miner Role- You start of with a pick axe.. you find caves and mine. Stone= 10$ Gold=30$ Diamond= 50$ Emerald =115$
My favorite role Is the collector. And then naturalist,moonshiner,bounty hunter,trader is my least favorite as I hate hunting
They should make like a safe cracker thief role that gives you unique skills and stealth equipment as you rank up and pull heists
yea bounty hunter is the role you should get first but for money trader is the best

After being at least level 20 in all roles apart from naturalist, here are my rankings:
5. Naturalist (boring)
4. Bounty hunter (no motivation, hard by yourself, not much money for the effort)
3. Collector (boring, lots of money)
2. Trader (slightly boring, lots of money, get lots of money for doing other peoples trader)
1. Moonshiner (very easy money, no effort required, $250 every hour without having to do anything apart from carefully drive a wagon to deliver it)
I like hunting to much
I had 8 gold and bought 25 bought bounty role and had enough for another role and this helped me out so much thank you
