  1. Protecting them from injury and keeping it fun are the only things that matter before the puberty years. All these skills are great but they mean nothing if they get injured or lose motivation because you push too hard.

  2. Gosh, at that age I was still playing with spaceships, I was too lazy to wake up early, I ate junk food and I was afraid of sleeping in the dark. Nowadays these kids practice and move like elite athletes and have the appearance of a family man. Did I miss something?😳

  3. I don’t think kids should be boxing at all. They can be interested in it, but I really don’t think they should be actively participating in it until they are older. I once saw a video where they had a bunch of kids boxing each other and I immediately reported it. There are too many risks to be doing it that early

  4. Something I would think as to why they would be adding resistance bands to the body is maybe helping build up muscle in the hip area to make it easier to lean your whole body into the punch.

  5. I wonder how much speed they can keep, once they have larger muscles. It is impressive regardless. The skills they are building, crazy

  6. Thanks for the video, Tony. As for the one that had bands around their body as well as their arm, I was thinking it was to involve the core as much as the arm and shoulder. You're constantly holding your body from turning against the bands, so it works the core rotationally. I also thought it was funny when Chris Williams came up, you said he is a great trainer from Liverpool, and just as you said that, he was holding one of the pads right in front of his face. I know it was a kid he was training, but still, that doesn't look like the ideal position to hold the pad in 😄

  7. I remember sparring like this at 6 months old but I was completely bummed out when UFC wouldn't allow me to enter the professional league because I was wearing diapers.
