Moriah /mɒˈraɪə/ (Hebrew: מוֹרִיָּה, Mōrīyya; Arabic: ﻣﺮﻭﻩ, Marwah) is the name given to a mountainous region in the Book of Genesis, where the binding of Isaac by Abraham is said to have taken place.
