Yet, with all the rage within him, he is a humble man. This is humility at its peak.
Admiration for the creators of this movie – whilste not 100% exactly correct, did come very close though. Very nice.

the fight against general Miura, the part where that guy goes to put his hand on his gun. it almost makes you think they left out a scene involving that when the general lost. its just so random and every time I see that scene i think of that. anyone got any thoughts on that?

See, the hollywood way the final fight would have been played out like Miura was a worthy adversary, but the fact that Ip Man unapologetically tore Miura to shreds is one of the most satisfying boss fights in action movie history.
I think Donnie yen was inspired by Jet Li's Fearless movie, although we can see in Fearless Jet li faces more though and stronger opponents compared to Donnie yen
