Brilliant movie!
So real and moving.
The acting was first class.
The big picture in my view is that the amount embellished was only 25k he got off light -and found another job . His parents were well off and his wife was supportive. I think he overreacted, he didnt abandon his family in the traditional sence . He wasnt a bad husband or father before his work problems. Maybe there should have been more understanding all around rather than the criminal and jail route
The issue had to be with repayment of the SS payments wouldn't it have been better for everyone all around to try and work something out than to go through the criminal justice system? Is that the best route to have closure and make ammends with the children?
