  1. There was definitely something off about the son. Could sense it from the start. Maybe showed some signs before this.

Poor dog gave them a warning and they were both armed. They were provided with a better chance of survival than most are given.

  2. Nick did an interview with local news from jail and had this to say about Jackie:

"It's something that I can never undo and I will live with every day for the rest of my life. My ex, she got a plea deal of the century like two days in county every for 10 years. Like, you know, what, what, what, what do they do that? So, you know, part of this is, part of this is to take accountability and the other part is to show my mother that what I did is not who I am. The public is going to hate me regardless. I can't change the past and my actions are or something, I'm ashamed of the spotlight for. This is embarrassing. It's not something that I'm proud of being here at the moment," Shaughnessy said.

  3. The son has great parents & still has no problems murdering his father, attempting to kill mother, have no guilt & it was all for money/greed. Vile people knew & said nothing. Shocking.😮😢

  4. When my mom called me on 1/2/25 to tell me my dad passed away I broke down screaming no and then I called my husband screaming he’s dead he’s dead😢 I could never ever ever kill my own father 🤬

  5. I believe Arian was over sentenced and Jackie under sentenced, our justice system is a joke. But way to use your head and get the hell away from everything

  6. I think the surviving family members of murdered loved ones should be able to decide the sentencing… they are the ones most affected. A plea deal for 2 day in jail yearly??? how ludicous… this is an example why our laws need to change. Give the victims more say in what happens to the murderers.

  7. My heart aches for this poor woman who has to now live with this deep trauma and without her husband of 30 years because he was murdered at the hands of their own son. And that daughter in law really should have been sentenced to much more than that. She was an accessory. She put up the money. She knew what he was planning. She. Put up. The money.
Just – this poor woman. I hope she’s able to somehow find peace wherever she is now. I can’t imagine having to live after something this absolutely horrendous. I wish I could give her a hug.

  8. I cannot take these women that “hyperventilate”. like if you’re calling a family member to tell them their dad is dead you might as well calm yourself down and speak like a normal person instead of sounding like an annoying ass person that can’t get her words straight. I swear if I was on the other side of that phone call I would have told her to calm the fuck down and speak like a normal person. It would have pissed me off so bad lol it’s not normal to talk like that hyperventilating or not.
