  1. I hope every understands, as I may have cut too much out for this to be clear. When I said "at fault", I am not saying that the other driver gets off scot free! I am saying that regardless of the situation, you are getting tickets, you are getting fined, or worse. The other driver could be 100% at fault but those of us with modified vehicles will most likely still get dinged for fines, tickets or worse. However, with video evidence of being responsible, the citations against you just for being modified have a higher chance of getting thrown out.

  2. I haven’t seen many of your videos, but after listening to this nonsense you have lost any credibility. Not only is what you are saying wrong it’s irresponsible. I would suggest you stick to the how to’s and leave the legalities alone.

  3. IMO, the most probable protection 2nd to, if not including, a dashcam, is ALL dealership Mopar mods. TFL Offroad did a series on a all-Mopar modified Gladiator a few years ago. ALL of the mods were warrantied.

  4. What good is the dash cam if you're parked along side of road and nowhere around as you say in video. More likely, the video will be off. Sounds like you sell dash cams and hate modifications to vehicles. Apply for a special construction title.

  5. You’re full of shit, you live in 100% absolutes… that’s not the way the world works. Always, 100%, every time, every police officer…. Yeah yeah yeah!

  6. In every state I have held a drivers license, the driver who rear ends another vehicle is always at fault, no matter if his or her vehicle is modded or bone stock. Got nothing to do with the vehicle, bot the driver not being fully in control of it.

  7. Idk how long ago or who you've talked to but this is ABSOFUKENLUTLEY ABSURD !!! I live in Pa , been all over Pa & never once had this been heard of or done to anyone I know or heard of. I actually drove up the rear of a car totaling it due to the vehicle pulling out in front of me then slamming on the brakes causing the accident & I had to attend three different court proceedings & it was not my fault & all three rulings were in my favor. 30 yrs being a jeeper & never once had I heard or seen this happen !!! And I've wrecked a ton as young hit head !!! Just crazy !!!

  8. That's the first thing I did, front and rear cams. Rear cam however is inside use only (not waterproof) so it was tricky to position to see most of the back. Thanks for the clip.

  9. All I know about Jeeps is their lights are too bright and the drivers don't care about anyone else but themselves. I came here to say that if you have a jeep, I don't like you. Change this reputation.

  10. Come on, man, do better!! 90% percent of vehicles are modified in one fashion or another.. that does not make you at fault in an accident.. this is like saying someone on a motorcycle, if hit by a car turning into their lane is at fault because their exhaust was too loud… come on man

  11. Well i wonder what they say bout my 94 Dodge Ram 2500 that has a 4 inch lift from the factory? Are they going to sue Dodge? A lot of good points buddy! Im fixing to lift my other truck 3 inch lift. Thanks for all your info you put out its still helpful for me even though i dont own any jeeps. You have to be rich to own jeeps now days but im proud for yall! Me and my sweet ole Myrtle we will try to stay out of yalls way! Please be patient with us and we will move over as soon as we can! Myrtle is slow but she is old! She is just a little 89 GMC K 3500 LONG 8 FT BED so please dont be mean to us. Take care and be safe! Happy Trails!

  12. God to know, but not necessarily true everywhere.
As a retired traffic officer, the only time I've found a modified vehicle to cause concerns is during an accident with injuries. Then a modified vehicle could results in high damage/medical payout.
But to sat that just because a vehicle is modified makes you automatically at fault is totally wrong.
If that was the case, that would make 70% or more of the vehicles on the road screwed.
If a modification part is D.O.T approved, then it must be proved that the modification enhance the damage/injuries.

  13. Thanks for sharing this valuable information and providing resources to stay up-to-date on classes and gear. And those Xgrid Campers look seriously cool! Keep up the great work and can't wait to see more updates on the JT Mojave build!

  14. I got rear-ended on the 215 with 2 inch lift with 33 12.5 r15s and they said 100% their fault my tire lifted their car and ripped the front quarter panel to bits and popped their tire no dash cam at the time but I agree everyone should have a dash cam no matter how much you drive
