i solve the bar problem for you. on weekends it´s more crowded than on weekdays. if the band you want to see plays on a weekend expect it to be full. also why would you want to have a seat when you´re seeing a band?
The part about how to avoid these events from happening by "nudging" the environment to avoid or slow down the growth of the cells… For me there's a very obvious link there to a lot of what social sciences have been telling us : give people a decent environment, with safety and a minimal amount of comfort ensured, and you see a lot of things like crime, drug abuse, etc go down… Would be awesome if these ideas could be turned into "harder" science, it might give politicians less room to wiggle out of their responsibilities.
One of the best podcast episodes I've heard. Complexity is a unique and interesting topic of interest. Would love to hear a game-theory/probability-esque episode of similar quality. Thanks Sean!

This was made all the more interesting by the use of relatable examples. Thank you!
I can bet this guy singlehandedly increased the suicide rate
Definitely one of the best episodes of the series IMHO
This episode had more complexity than usual. Great!

Before listening I'll go out on a limb and call this one of the most complex podcasts out there.
