  1. I missed the fight, but hearing this on the radio, forever sealed my love for him as a boxer!

Like another commenter said, you never hear that kind of truth from any athlete. They weasle around why they retire, and Mike just gives them a straight honest from the heart speech!

  2. Thatโ€™s what I call true sportsmanship.Very honest and he took his L respectfully and realised he was yesterdayโ€™s man.His legacy will never be forgotten or matched in any way, shape or form.Long Live Iron Mike โคโคโค

  3. He was old here and fighting young pros…..he had no chance and he knew it but he needed the cash for the family….. he didn't even train for the fight from what i understand he only did fitness more or less to at least look like Mike Tyson:)))this was 2006 but in 2002/03 he.was still killer could even beat contenders and in the 90s he had the ability to become champ even in 98/99 he was a contender and ranked in the tops worldwide.Mike is after Ali the best boxer…… his technical abilty is not apreciated…..that peek a boo that Cus teached him is my favourite style plus its entertaining……you need to be fit and fast for it…..Lewis and most of his rivals werent as spectacular and were usually bigger taller and heavier than Mike yet werent as good….in his 20s Mike was killing them and was training for 2 weeks before a fight:))) he was that good.Mayweather may have the technique but the difference in strenght is like between a Buggati and a Toyota Corolla:)))
