  1. I’m here after Tyson slapped tf out of Paul because he accidentally stepped on his toe. I have no clue who is going to win the fight tomorrow but I think it’s so cool we get to see one last time, the true and literal warrior mentality that Cus molded Tyson to embrace when getting into that ring.

  2. After Liston had destroyed his earlier heavyweight champion protege, Cus was determined to build a fighter that could destroy Listen. And he did, if not a generation late. And his name is Mike Tyson.

  3. Cus is a legend
    RIP
Forged Mike into a devestating puncher

And It is absolute prime. There is nobody that could take a clean body punch from him.

Unfortunately mike slipped away from Cus at the end.
Got lured in by Don King. Got away from the discipline and hard work ethic and chased the money in the fame.
He slowly lost his skill and his devotion and intensity.

And then there was the day that the music died ⚰️ Buster Douglas , Who had just canceled the fight because his mother died just before the fight.

Of course he changed his mind.
Instead of running away from Mike.
He decided to stand his ground and use his reach and jab.
I remember every second of every round. Because I was at a bar in new york and it was packed.

As soon as I saw Buster throwing hard punches and not running away from Mike.

I knew it was gonna be a fight and I was standing on my barstool and I think the bar itself screaming Mike is done 🍞

And yes if you know anything about boxing or if you remember the fight.
Buster got lucky with the long count.

    Either way history was made

  4. That last part is amazing to me. This man who terrified people with just his presence and his hands. No weapons, no guns, no army. Just one on one. Man to man, nobody could fuck with him. He’d kill you with his hands

Yet this man feels pain, insecurities, he feels like a coward. It’s amazing to me. He cries because he can’t stand that people take his restraint and self-control as weakness. He feels people see him as a punk or a bitch.

I believe everyone always feels like the kid they were. He was bullied and deep down. No matter how tough he was. He always was terrified of being the little kid who got pushed around again. It terrified him. My dad is the same. Heart of a lion. But it’s because being bullied as a kid traumatized tf out of him. We’re all that kid deep inside.

Just is insane to think “he’s just like us”
