  1. Many years ago mom and dad were on a vacation and they get to a mountain road that the highway patrol had closed due to snow. The patrolman saw the ND license plates and said "you know how to drive in snow, you can go through if you want".

  2. "how much do we have to scrape off before we get moving" "about as much as an ice fishing hole" totally me. "alright you're scraping the hell out of my windshield"😂

  3. I hate roundabouts so much!!

You spend a panic-filled eternity trying to get to the inside, then you immediately have to move back out to make your turn.
    …..oh but wait
    ….you missed it
    …time for round 2
….and piss off other drivers by passing to the outside too early so you can make the tu…
    …too late… again…
    …time for round 3
    …etc
    …etc
…hopefully you don't run out of gas

  4. Roundabouts are fine once you learn to use them. You have to yield to cars coming from the left unless they're far enough away, and I would go to the inner lane of the circle if you're going straight or left, and the outer lane if you're turning right.

  5. Got my license today, they threw a roundabout at me, I had no goshdarn idea what to do, and I don’t think the instructor did either. I didn’t even know we had roundabouts in my state.

  6. The roundabouts in the UK were great, easy to use and actually big enough in diameter. The crappy ones here in Washington state…some create more of a hazard than what they replaced. They are to damn small, no consistency so from one to next you have no clue how to navigate it. Two lanes around that cross over two other lanes, nobody knows when or who to yield to. We ended up having more wrecks than before they put the roundabout to make it a safer intersection. People go miles out of their way to avoid it. Tax money well spent…Not!

  7. I have about five or more ice scrapers because every year I can’t find them and then I have to get a new one. Usually someone has extra. Somewhere in my basement I’m gonna find a bunch of them one day. 😜

  8. I lost it when you did the full wave vs winter wave. When I moved to Missouri from southern California for college and was driving through some smaller towns, I couldn't figure out why drivers were waving at me. I thought that either something was wrong with my car or something bad was coming up ahead. After telling my roommate, who was from the area, she looked at me weird and told me that they were waving just to be friendly. Foreign concept to a California driver, since we become rage monsters thanks to our soul-sucking traffic. 😂😂

  9. True story. The FIRST roundabout I ever encountered in Wisconsin was in Verona when Verona and Madison first met and blended. Since Wisconsin didn't have roundabouts when I went through driving school in the early 90's, we were never taught about it. And I will always remember my first encounter with the Roundabout. Lol
The FIRST roundabout in Wisconsin was installed in Howard, in 1999.
