  1. Every aftermarket handguard for this gun seems to have issues. I was stoked when Beretta finally released a factory M-lok handguard. The original 1301's with the slick handguard had nowhere to mount a light, but m-lok on the factory mod-2 fixes that. You really don't need m-lok anywhere else IMO.
