This company is a crock of shit. Their flame retard system and contrived delusion of safety first is pure BS. You cant fill or use that thing with out spilling toxic and flammable fuel EVERYWHERE. Try using that joke of a can to fill a tractor or anything chest level and you will get more fuel on you than in the tank. The spout spring is so strong, it pushes my mower down the drive when I try to compress the damned thing enough to get the spout to release fuel into the tank. The extra horizontal stress to depress the spout spring then bends the spout and causes more gas to run out of the sliding sleeve than goes in to the tank. This gas went onto my hot mower engine and nearly burned me when it smouldered and tried to catch fire. Using this joke piece of crap to fill our tractor takes two people. One to lift the 5 gallon diesel can and another to hammer on the god damned red plastic catch to release the spring loaded sleeve, opening the spout to allow fuel flow. Then it takes 5 minutes of fuel trickling out of the can, sucking in the sides of the crap plastic container because there is NO WORKING VENT. You just go ahead and try to fill this can at a gas pump. I DARE YOU! The fire retard thing inside is so restrictive, it constantly triggers the over flow kick out on the pump. You can fill the damned can, IF you have 10 minutes to waste and the patience to click the gas pump nozzle back on about 50 times to get anything near 5 gallons. This assumes the gas station operator doesn't yell at you for causing his pump to click on and off constantly to get this pos filled. This companies CAN IS ABSOLUTE WORTHLESS CRAP. Get your money back if you can. Fireman Jarret here is a complete idiot and has never used the damn can for anything other than storage and that is clear. Good Job Fireman Jarret You and Jerry Burris there are complete rip off artists.
They should take these gas cans off the market I did not say how the government would ever ever approve these things, I'm doing what I can do now to see if I can get Walmart to take them off the shelf.
The federal government should shut your company down you are a disgrace to America anyone that make a product like your fuel cans, I don't know who your engineer is but you got the wrong one, I don't see how your company is going to stay in business 😒…..

A training video for use of a gas can. I was really hoping this was gonna teach me how to use their products in such a way that puts the gasoline in the tank and not on the ground, all over the engine, or side of the car and dribbling down my hand. I'm relieved though to learn I'm not stupid it's the design of Midwest Can't spout. Instead of turning off comments, just contact YouTube and have them remove the negative comments like the White House's YT channel.

I don't understand the trouble people are having with the spout. I used one today out of 5gal I spilled 3gal on the ground. I guess I could have 🚬 while I was poring it. We need to look out for the environment.
My opinion: Any home use gas can that needs a training video to understand how to use it ridiculous. The Quick-Flow Spout on the Midwest gas I just purchased is the most over engineered way possible to spill gas in placed that I don't want gas. Yes you need a fireman handy when using midwest can products. The spout that came with my 5600 model promotes spill everywhere. Totally unsafe product.
Garbage
Midwest gas cans are one of the most abhorrent items I've ever had the misfortune to purchase. You disabled comments on your cheap, gas station run through can's & got rationed to no end for a good reason. I taught OSHA, this company and their products are egregious by the lowest standards.
