Barry, consider this. TA says communication is a problem in loud environments like that and those kinds of things happen. All OL in set position. If TA really understands what he just said, why were his eyes completely off his assignment. When he turns his head, he looks surprised that there was a guy there. WAS! He was the only OL not moving at the snap. I think he quickly realized his explanation was a conviction against himself. Not only was our long time veteran STAR OT the only OL to miss whatever the communication was, he was so unfocused, he went into the set position ("Hut!" comes next) and had his probable assignment nowhere in his field of vision? "It was too late" because you were so spaced out that he ran four steps past you when you turned and saw him for the 1st time on that play.
Not sure when that play happened but if it was late in the game, I would have respected an answer more like this from a veteran leader.

I felt Armstead made the PB this year on reputation alone. Same with Ramsey, and that's no slight. Collectively, both missed the majority of the season and we really never had a drop off after 72 was injured. I felt Van Ginkle, Seiler, Chubb, Wilkins all had as much if not more success. Funny how our team is, got ballers everwhere but hardly ever peaking at the right time.
So because miscommunication was his response. Why not just accept his answer and show a little grace.He admitted it was a mistake by "someone " You are pushing buttons now by going into the minutia of his response. Not sure what you are gaining from this perspective.

Terron is a great talent, but he is hurt way too much. Say what you want about the talent. Chris Grier built us a football team made up of "GLASS JOE'S!" I remember talking about it when we signed Terron, then again with Chubb. How many "injury prone but extremely talented " players hav we signed overwhelming last 5 years? Me: way too damn many.

My 11 year old son identified that play. He yelled at the TV "aren't you going to block the guy!" I myself was confused as to why he stood there. Many fights have started between linemen, due to offensive linemen throttling defenders that come free.
Holding is only a good play when it keeps your QB from taking shots like the one Tua took. Unabated to the QB is never a good thing.

Today, on game day for the Bills, 19 Dolphins players are on the injured list. This seems insane.
My question: Is this extreme? I realize the injury bug is rampant throughout the league, but Miami’s problem seems critical.
You can draft and trade for big-name players, but what good are they on the bench? Especially at the most critical time of the year?

I'm right there with you Barry. I've been a dolphins fan since Marino came into the leauge. I've been with them every year and tired of being disappointed. There better on paper then on the field. Dolphins need to move on from player who have woeful injury records. Armstead is an expensive 7-8 game a year player. By the end of the season Terron is a buted flush full of injuries. We shall be fine with Jackson and Lamm.
Only criticism I have Barry is towards the end of the video you don’t sound like a fan, because even you have changed the narrative on many occasions. The narrative before was Tua needs not to extend the plays, needs to learn to throw the ball away. You never mentioned the injuries to the same players we’ve had every year. Moreover, the Bills are not a very good team either. Neither are the Ravens, why? Their QB’s have to extend the plays, something you and others have said Tua should not do. You just wait and see when Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson go down with a season ending injury. There are so many factors that contribute and alter a season, just like a round in Poker. Parity and free agency has ruined the NFL, it’s really a joke. Any time a free agent gets all that money, they get injured or they quit playing. Football is a game of chance and luck. Even the Jets and the Patriots found new ways to get better and win. And remember this, only 1 team at the end of the year wins all the marbles. The Detroit Lions were ripped off with blown calls and so have other teams. And, at the end of the day, it’s just a game, a kids game.
