Just recently became a fan after going to my first Metallica concert in Seattle. Oh my god have I been missing out. That solo by Kirk brought me to tears. Such an incredible song.

METALLICA will never stop performing
Of their massive catalog, I like just three Metallica tracks and this is by far my favorite. It's weird – I grew up with the same influences they did, esp Priest and Sabbath, but so much of their music belongs to a younger, angrier generation. I put a lot of it down to the thrash explosion on both coasts in the 80s – the fusion of metal with hardcore never really did it for me Such is life.

I was about to do it years ago. I remember i wanted this song to be the last thing I hear. I was listening to it with the stuff in my hand and halfway through the solo I realized that even if everything else in my life sucks, I still enjoy this song enough to wanna hear it again.
