  1. Still a fine song – albeit i was never being a Fan of the black Album. But the Unforgiven Trilogy is nice.

    To Metallica

    You've created Load, ReLoad

There's one missing – UnLoad, with all the rehersal Songs, B-sides, nobody wants to hear on the Albums, to finish the trilogy ! 🤣

    /sarcasm 😉

  2. for clearance: remix: taking parts of a song and adding new things to it. Remaster: the whole song with a complete polishing and workover but with ALL of the old material used!

  3. I have just listened on Amazon Ultra HD. I recorderd a 30 second clip of The Unforgiven in Audacity and a 30 second clip of the original version. I cant see any difference in the waveforms and can't hear any difference, Either amazon have not put the correct version out for the remaster or there is no difference. Recorded from the deluxe box set version. I listen on a fairly high end audio system.

  4. Highs are higher, lows are lower, more compressed, but vibe is lost. Am I the only one that hears that?
But hey I guess if you want to pay for the new and improved version that sounds worse go for it.
I’ll never make a song that comes close to this so it’s still good even if it’s worse.

  5. I will never forget how I hurried off in the morning to buy the new Tallica single. In a record store in Rotterdam. In my (long since scrapped) 1978 VW Golf Blackended was playing on the cassette radio. Hell, I was really disappointed when I first heard Sandman. What a lame song. Later on on the album I thought Struggle was pretty ok. The rest and especially NEM can suck my ass to this day. What did I read there? Hetfield no longer likes the old songs from the first three albums? Well, that's the problem dude, that's why you lost that old fire about 30 years ago.
