It seems when i am in deep ketosis have difficulty staying asleep. I am female and 1yr post menopause 55.
Your video are really helping me. I been keto and high fat carnivore but after only a few days of doing PSMF i am feeling better and have lost a couple pounds! (Have not been able to lose weight).
I am up early this morning to make a couple of Judy's recipes!
Thanks so much to both of you!!
I am intrigued by what happens in the summertime when sun rises and sets at extreme timings. Or those leaving in northern countries such as Sweden.
Going to try the melatonin. Thank you!!
I can't sleep over 8 years I am on Ativan , feeling terrible
I liked the video 13 Trillion times
I want that cinnamon, protein bread recipe 😋
Thank you! I'm going to give this a go. I also take L-Theanine to calm my anxious mind. I have sleep meds, but don't want to rely in those.
Quick question… I also live in Eastern NC and we frequently have cloudy or rainy this time of year, is there another way to get the signals from sunlight when we have the gloomy weather? When you speak of fish oil at night as supplement would that also go for cod liver oil? Also what are your thoughts on grounding?
I am in bed by 8:30p, then wake up at midnight, back to sleep, wake at 3am, if I am lucky, fall back to sleep until 4am. Thoughts?
I find that by taking my Vit D at night, it also helps me to sleep
Wow, I'm 63 and am apparently enjoying a kinship with Crazy Horse. It is possible, I'm proof. Thanks, Doc.
Thank you, Dr. Goldkamp!
Yes, I enjoy your 'quick (brain) bits', keep 'em coming!
For years I go to bed at midnightish & sleep like a rock. Wake up at 9ish or later (since retired). First thing go out for a fasted 3 mile walk or cycle around a lake almost everyday. I feel great & have lots of energy.
Another great vid. Thanks
Thank you for this video. I’ve always been able to sleep well. But recently due to some events like one of my beloved fur babies died, I am having a hard time sleeping and staying asleep. What are your thoughts on temporarily taking L-Theanine, 5HTP, and GABA for me to get over this hump? I have melatonin as well but I read that it could cause dependence, I have been avoiding it.
I have a healthy sleep pattern. It’s solid. My husband does not, never did, and it would be highly beneficial to him as he has the LMNA gene expression that affects his cardiac health. Thanks for a new direction that I will further research for him.
Good video. Thank you. I have a routine. Just not one that early
Thanks Karl! Added bonus: I know what I'm adding to Lent!
Great video sir…btw…I love your way of protien sparing
I keep a schedule of sleeping 11pm -7am 💜 I think I'm asleep most of the time if not I'm at least relaxed. I love dreaming!! They are very vivid 🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️
I go to bed at 9:00 pm and get up at 6:00 am everyday.
