  1. AI adoption in games is a good thing if the AI systems are good enough assist development.
But it comes of course at a price that actors and mo cap stunt people have no job.

And then everyone can make a game in a few years, democratic game development.

But i also foresee quality control, because not everyone is fair or creative.

  2. people just have to realize that the longer term effect is that companies will cut costs to increase profits, rather than spend the voice acting money to improve game development… A company will always go with the lowest possible effort/cost that can get their product to sell! Sure, you have (and likely will continue to have) some exceptions to this rule, but 99% of the industry will just decide to pocket the money, rather than improve their products…

  3. Sure wait till it comes to a point that AI will take over game developer jobs too. Take over marketing, accounting and everything else in between. So why just not let AI make money so they wouldn't have to do a thing. Comin up next AI gamers. Let that pain slowly sink in 🤣🤣

  4. This is defiantly not good for the video game industry in a whole. Actors, voice actors and even programmers will lose their jobs resulting in them to look for jobs in other sectors of the industry. That being said, AI has its benefits, not in the video game industry and does not matter how fast the game is developed, it matters that the developers to release premium experiences to all gamers with real voice actors.

Keep in mind that when you’re reporting this on your video that this will not be good what so ever in this industry or any industry for that matter. People will lose their livelihood over this transition of enforcing AI in the development of tech and even games.

  5. If you think prices are going to be cheaper am sorry but no. Definetely not.
Is bad news fir everyone, gamers and voice actors. Between Deepfake and this we are the souls of the characters. But prices won't drop a dime. Still believe they won't use it for core characters. Just NPCS

  6. Please show me where you read its the United States Government that wants this to be? I think, since i followed it closely. That the Actors as in The SAG- AFTRA they agreed to it as part of their deal they made within this case, Gaming Productions. I mean if this is all true, then Video Games got by for years b4 the first celeb got paid to add their voice to a game character. I need to see proof that United States is the one doing this or, its just part of the SAG deal?

  7. I think you guys give AI wayy too much credit 😅😅It's not that good and everything (like just getting rid of actors and having voices for free) will not go so smooth. For many, many year it'll be used prob. just on some random NPCs and it'll not improve the time, price, or quality of upcomming games. Not to mention that many games already use AI voices and it didn't give the creators that much help…
