Don't get it twisted… I love barbell movements BUT if you don't want to be tied to a gym and still want strong legs… this is how we do it 🙂

You are awesome. The entire theme of conscious movement aligned with consciousness in general hits such a good cord.
Keep it up,
thank you so much! I am looking for good lower body exercises for my husband. One thing in particular i am wondering about is protecting the knees. would you recommend just generally being mindful of your joints and not overdoing it, or are there more specific tips you have as it relates to protecting the knees? could you speak to that? i love your workouts and how you respect and nourish your male body.
One of the best no equipment leg exercises is the pistol squat. It requires less ankle flexibility but benefits from great hamstring flexibility, if you can keep your free leg straight & horizontal, reach out & try to grab your toes. This counter balances you also helps keep your standing foot flat for for-aft balance.
To start don't squat as deep or back into a (eg) chair. Then to make harder add weights, close one eye, or jump up to a platform.
One legged squats like the pistol & shrimp are great BK they can be done anywhere and great for any athlete BK it improves your balance.
Any movement that ido portal would most likely do is a way to get out of your head

Hey Josh, I really like your videos. You are my go-to-guy when it comes to stretches and movements. I only wish I was as limber and strong as you. Regarding books, I recommend reading The Noble Quran: The Translation of Its Meaning, Translated by Hilali and Khan. I became a practicing Muslim about twenty years ago. Before that I would say, "I am Muslim but I don't practice." I now read it in the language it was revealed in, Arabic. It really offers a concrete solution to our human predicament of living fleeting lives, uncertain futures, unattainable worldly bliss, not to mention unrequited love. Here is an excerpt of the Quran being recited while leading a prayer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QgIO8N2qGM
I hope you enjoy it.
Where did you get that beanie from? Need it.

Hey! One question, if you can put a name to all your exercises like your disciplinar what would be? For example: calistenics? Gym? Functional? What name is? I ask because I dont have the money to pay your course but I am interés on learning that, and maybe here on my country there is someone who teaches the exercises you bring here. Thanks man!
I just wrote a book called "The Fear of Love and Corona. 17,840 Miles during Covid, Lockdown to Election."

Love the book talk here, man. I've been working with Mitch a little bit over the past few months and I'm learning that this style of fitness is much more than just the physical. I'm learning how they overlap to create a balanced, nutritious practice. Thanks for what you do, Josh. Much love – Will
Your legs are half your body! If you're not training your legs you're ignoring half of your body!

Shantaram is a great book and the audiobook is equally as good. Great channel, I hope to put some of this into practice soon.
I am really looking forward to trying this routine. There’s some exercises I’ve wanted to get better at for a long time.

Hi Josh! We found your videos and have started working the exercises. We love them! We are a very young, older couple (60-ish), and very fit. Our goal in life is to help others grow spiritually healthy. We love that you recommended The Alchemist!
Some of the books we recommend to our clients, and you might enjoy, to grow spiritually are as follows: "Letting Go" by Dr. David Hawkins, (also Power Vs. Force), "The Miracle of Mindfulness" by Thich Nhat Hanh, and "if The Buddha Dated" and "If The Buddha Married" both by Charlotte Kasl PhD. All these can be found on our website or Amazon. Thank you so much! Keep up the great work!
So Josh on the more beginner version (that the woman does in your video) is she arching you back when she goes forward? Also, is she moving forward just from the hips when she bends forward? Would like to do this version but not clear…thank you!
Be kind, be nice, be sweet.
After that awesome video, basketball improvement motivation is definitely on.
Thx dude!
