  2. Hilarious about the man bun. Write Notepads are great. They are a Baltimore, Maryland company. And they do make some very strong, robust and work oriented notebooks. I personally like and use their pocket notebooks

  3. Great list, Carl. I’ve written enough field OPORDS in the pouring rain on Rite on the Rain products as an Army tank platoon leader, I feel they’ve earned their “tactical” marketing. That was back in the day before every tank was a rolling computer, so I have no idea what the troops do now. But Rite on the Rain is a legit old school tactical product.

  4. Absolutely love my wigwam socks, channellocks, rada knives, Nordic ware pans, and my Sullivan gloves. This is a great list!

I’ve had the same 3 pairs of wigwam heavyweight hikers for almost 10 years and they aren’t even thin in the heel yet.

  5. I love the rite in the rain note books its just really hard for me to justify buying the ones I would use the most. I use large full size notebooks and for the price of rite in the rain, I can buy 12 cheaper ones and I usually run tho a notebook every 2-4 weeks

  6. For anyone in a snowy area, like Boston where I used to live, get the snow shovel, get various windshield scrappers and snow brushes (short handle and long handle), and if you really want to level up for anyone who parks outside, get the foam snow broom with the telescoping handle. It's a game changer for clearing off any car roof with several inches of snow and it won't damage your paint, plus it's like $20.

  7. Ive got several of these things on the list. The main ones being the buck 110 and the flag. I've had the 110 since I graduated high wchool and there hasn't been a day I left the house and it not be on my hip since, truely a workhorse. And the flag we have had flying in our yard for years and it's held up great.
