  1. Bro should have had his gun cause I saw a vid he was caughing up blood a lot and he was stabbed about 12 times so ya it’s very sad but keep 2 officers and keep ur gun out or hold on to it

  2. It’s so interesting how “victim blaming” parallels itself in many instances that other people would argue against. They were a victim but because they weren’t perfect in the situation that negates the fact that someone else, with own their own autonomy, destroyed them.

“He shouldn’t have walked up so casually to the suspect by himself what horrible training.”

“She shouldn’t have walked home alone from the bar wearing that. It looks like she’s clearly asking for it.”

I’m not even disagreeing that mistakes weren’t made, it’s just if I applied this same logic and talked to someone I know about that application, they’d throw a fit that it’s different.

  3. So many red flags. The gloves, the distance from a normal social setting. The body posture. The lack of fear from being confronted by a police officer. It’s sad this cop couldn’t grip any of this. An experienced cop likely would have had this kunt raise his hands in seconds

  4. R.i.p poor police officer sadly some nice ppl have to deal with this dumb homeless ppl all they do is make las cruces ugly I used to be like poor homeless ppl now I'm like this ppl are nothing but trouble. Out of 10 homeless ppl only like 1 or 2 are nice.

  5. A pure example of why they only harass and decimate black people. They pull guns on us with little or no restraint. When they white they. Talk civilly and give respect and restraint in a situation that a gun's presence is appropriate. very sad 😢 Rip officer❤

  6. Where are all the Gods damn video warriors who harass cops trying to do a thankless job only to get in the way and endanger officers lives? Like this officer who probably had his hands tied by political bullshit.

  7. I saw this eaw body cam footage .. all you saw was blood spurting over his lense, gurgling his blood. A man came out and shot the assailant 3 times, killing him. They tried placing pressure on his neck wounds, but the bleeding was just too massive. 0 to dead in 6 mins. People, the courts won't uphold the 21 ft rule for citizens. But this example is exactly why you react with 21 ft between you and him. That distance is closed extremely quickly.

  8. I feel so sorry that he lost his life officer Hernandez God bless you and have you and heaven I pray for your family I’m so sorry for everything the city become full of homeless not enough police

  9. Your not training your people properly!!…. very simple to keep your distance at least 20ft to analyze the situation then you close in carefully as you convince yourself that it's safe to approach.😮😊

  10. Need an arm shield on your dominant arm, and some sort of flexible neck guard. Physical grounding exercises where you can learn to use your arm to block face attacks. Methods of getting people to stand up and walk to you slowly, a police officer always keeping 5 foot distance. Especially in areas like New Mexico where crime is random based on how far everything is from other establishments. Different approaches are needed. Not all homeless people in New Mexico are like this.

Hopefully something like this can be done instead of creating more prejudices for innocent bystanders that may be homeless. Never trust someone random…but the more prejudices created, the more harm you bring upon your local economy, general well-being for all communities. There must be more proactive methods used instead.

Absolutely tragic. It left me speechless. Angry. You never know how the devil will approach you. All we can do is learn how to keep evil away from arms reach.

Blessings to his family. The man seemed to be empathetic and patient. How unfortunate someone of high quality is now gone.

  11. So sad. I watched a YouTube live in Burbank California. A man came at a cop with a knife. The driver got out yelled ge would let his dog out. The man holding the knife ran off. The cop was not injured.
    Help cops.

  12. That man had no business being a police officer. He had no hesitation in walking straight up to an individual like that, and then opted to turn and run versus pull and shoot. What a sickening avoidable tragedy.
