  1. Forever Young's photo finish 3rd place was the best performance ever by a Sunday Silence descendant in a triple crown race! I wish he could have gotten first, but, he ran extremely well and finished 3rd by the smallest of margins. If Mystik Dan hadn't been there it would have very reminiscent of Sunday Silence's Preakness against Easy Goer. Also, the winner, Mystik Dan's damsire (Colonel John) was a son of Tiznow, a tail male descendant of Man o' War. Mystik Dan, while not a tail male descendant because of his dam, Ma'am, is still a great representative of that line of horses.

  2. I didn't think that lane was going to open up for Mystic Dan to get through on the inside. I guess it pays to be a stalker….😊

  3. How is nobody talking about the #2 horse's jockey grabbing the reigns of the #11 horse coming down the stretch. He got fined $2500 for it. Nobody is talking about how rigged this race was

  4. Are you aware of the horse fatalities and casualties of being part of the business and ultimately end up being slaughtered and sold overseas to China where there is a market for their meat. So when you attend and support racing you are contributing and perpetuating the cruelty and commoditization of these beautiful intelligent animals😢

  5. OMG WHAT JUST HAPPENED

    YALL

I PRINTED A PICTURE OF SIERRA LEONE AT THE PHOTO FINISH OF THE KENTUCKY DERBY, PUT A PROTRACTER TO IT (AS HE WAS AT ONE OF THE LONGEST POINTS IN HIS STRIDE) AND IT CAME OUT AT 107 DEGREES.

THATS 3 DEGREES LESS THAN SECRETARIAT.

IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME, DO IT YOURSELF. FIND A PICTURE OF HIM AT HIS LONGEST STRIDE, AND MEAUSRE HIS STRIDE LENGTH WITH A PROTRACTOR.

DOES THIS MEAN WHAT I THINK IT MEANS?

  6. I am proud of Forever Young.
The owner of the company that created Uma Musume, which revitalized horse racing in Japan, became the owner of the horse and won third place in the prestigious Kentucky Derby, not far behind first place.
    It's dramatic and inspiring.
Also, he's super cute. Cute, cute, cute.

  7. Remember Mine That Bird? This call reminded me of that race. Somehow the announcer does not see the horse coming up the rail. Both horses were ahead by over 3 lengths before the announcer called their name. What a great finish by all three horses.

  8. So sad that there can only be one winner. All front three horses were gallant in reaching for the wire…., so equally brave, they are deserve to win together.
