  1. Stats Show Fentanyl Replacing Heroin as Cartel Cash Cow

Fentanyl is rapidly replacing heroin as the drug cartels are using to make money. Statistics on drug seizures from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) show that there has been a clear shift in the cartels’ smuggling habits, and the data strongly indicate that the border chaos of recent years is facilitating this lethal trade. Comparing statistics across the last three full fiscal years (FY) is as it informative as it is alarming.

Heroin seizures were high throughout FY 2021, closing the year on 5,400 lbs. seized. But by FY 2023 seizures had fallen to just 1,500 lbs. That is a 72 percent drop in just two fiscal years. By contrast, fentanyl seizures in FY 2021 were 11,200 lbs. and over 27,000 lbs. in FY 2023. This is an enormous 141 percent increase. The statistics show that the cartels are clearly changing their business model. Cartels see more money and growth opportunity in fentanyl, and are moving away from heroin and towards fentanyl. < > FAIR US org

  2. Despite CBO’s Predictions, Trump Tax Cuts Were a Boon for America’s Economy and Working Families

    MAY 9, 2024 — Key Facts:

In fiscal year 2022, federal tax revenues reached a record-high of $4.9 trillion – $1.6 trillion or 48 percent higher than when the Trump tax cuts were passed and $884 billion higher than CBO’s projections for 2022.

Corporate tax revenues reached a record-high of $425 billion – $128 billion or 43 percent higher than when the Trump tax cuts were passed and $72 billion higher than CBO’s projections for 2022.

Individual tax revenues reached a record-high of $2.6 trillion – over $1 trillion or 66 percent higher than when the Trump tax cuts were passed and $642 billion higher than CBO’s projections for 2022.

On average, revenues increased $205 billion per year over CBO’s projections.

In the first two years after passage of the Trump tax cuts, GDP growth was a full percentage point higher than CBO’s pre-TCJA forecast.

According to the White House Office of Management and Budget, every additional one percent of sustained GDP growth will result in $600 billion in new revenues over 5 years and $2.8 trillion over 10 years.

Following passage of the Trump tax cuts…

Real median household income rose by $5,000 – a bigger increase in just two years than in the prior eight years combined.

Wages increased 4.9 percent, the fastest two-year growth in real wages in 20 years.

The poverty rate and unemployment rate reached their lowest levels in 50 years, with all-time lows in unemployment among African American and Hispanic workers, and those without a high-school degree.

The bottom 20 percent of earners saw their federal tax rate fall to its lowest level in 40 years.

Americans earning under $100,000 received an average tax cut of 16 percent.

The share of taxes paid by the top 1 percent of households increased while the tax burden paid by lower income earners decreased.

Allowing the Trump tax cuts to expires will mean higher taxes on working families and businesses, including…

A family of four earning $75,000 will owe an additional $1,500 in taxes.

A family of five with two earners making around $100,000 will owe an additional nearly $7,500 in taxes.

The Child Tax Credit will be slashed in half from $2,000 down to $1,000.

The guaranteed deduction that 90 percent of taxpayers use to simplify their tax filing will be slashed in half.

The 20 percent deduction that helps small businesses compete with larger corporations goes away leaving small businesses facing a 43.4 percent tax rate.

There have been no changes to CBO’s methodology to address other miscalculations…

For fiscal year 2023, CBO under projected the budget deficit by $1 trillion.

The green tax provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) were originally estimated to cost $400 billion through FY 2031. This has since been revised up by two-thirds, to about $660 billion through FY 2031 or $790 billion through FY 2033. < > WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE

  3. The Bottom Line:

Since President Biden took office, prices have increased by a total of 19.3 percent. This means that the average family of four is paying an additional $17,080 per year or $1,423 per month to purchase the same goods and services.

Ending our inflation crisis will require a joint effort between fiscal and monetary policymakers. Additional work will be needed from the Fed, while Congress and the White House must do their part to rein in out-of-control deficits and debt.

House Budget Republicans are ready. That’s why we’ve passed our FY25 “Reverse the Curse” blueprint that balances the budget in 10 years and reduces deficits by $14 trillion over the next decade. < > BUDGET COMMITTEE

  4. Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act prohibits discrimination based on race, color, or national origin in programs or activities receiving federal financial assistance.[3] Joe Biden told the Philadelphia Enquirer on October 12, 1975:

“Liberals have rejected common sense. Anybody who has studied the area knows that we don't have a workable rehabilitation program. Yet we continue to insist that the function of prison is to rehabilitate, not punish. I think the Democratic Party could stand a liberal George Wallace — someone who’s not afraid to stand up and offend people, someone who wouldn’t pander but would say what the American people know in their gut is right”

George Wallace praised Biden as "one of the outstanding young politicians of America."[5] Wallace is famous for coining the slogan in a gubernatorial inaugural address,

"Segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever!"[

  5. The two star witnesses are definitely not fair or impartial….there are years of those two openly bitter and praying for someone to lock him up …stormy tried to bury trump and ends up owing him money lol cohen was craving the loving touch of trump and never got it and went jail over it.

    It’s wild

  6. Kayleigh McEnany likes it when Donnie calls her milquetoast.🤣🤣🤣
Trump is a lier and Cohen is a lier so is one any better than the other? At least Cohen isn't afraid to testify unlike trump.

  7. When Trump claims Mexico aren't sending their best, he needs to look in the mirror. He's a career fraudster. Trump has been committing crimes since his crooked daddy brought him into the business. Just hasn't been convicted yet.

  8. I'm reminded of my youth when I hear politics from the Republican Party. Everything they say is rooted in patriotism, taxation, guns, any means to their end. Though this experiment it is all rooted in the unity of the Party.. with little understanding of their glorification of war.

Peaceful methods are not their objective which strips away everyone else's rights. It seems that they love the fact of tearing down tyrants to become one.

Glorifying what happened when the United States formed but spend all their time tearing it down. What is missing is their actions don't fit with their beliefs. They have become the tyrant party they say they hated and glorify that they fought against it at the beginning of our union.

The illusory truth effect, also known as the illusion of truth, describes how when we hear the same false information repeated again and again, we often come to believe it is true. Troublingly, this even happens when people should know better-that is, when people initially know that the misinformation is false.

  9. I hope the Jurors see the Stormy Dumpster interview with Bill Maher where she talks about how well she was treated so they see her lie. However, they are New Yorkers and we all know how they are.

  10. Costello testimony was totally denied by the judge( all objections by the prosecution were sustained). Just shows how corrupt the judge is by NOT allowing exculpatory evidence. Hopefully there is at least one juror that sees the bias in this case. If found guilty, the case will be appealed. The problem is it will probably be only AFTER the elections. Then all the left leaning media will go after Trump saying he is a convict. This is clearly election interference! Trump 2024!!!

  11. This judge is going to do everything he can do illegally against Trump that he can.
A judge without a bit of remorse of what he does.
MY QUESTION IS, WHERE IN HELL IS THE STATE BAR ASSOCIATION AT.
THEY HAVE SEEN THIS MISSCARRIGE OF JUSTICE.

  12. We need to make America great again! We strayed very far from God Almighty, good morals and values, and family unity, the foundation which our great nation was built on. God Bless You and God Bless America!

  13. Martha makes some very good points. Her problem is, she’s a conservative the jury is all democrats with a biased already against Trump before the trial even began.

  14. They are expecting to lose, so Merchan is on board, helping them out. First, it's 8 extra days Trump is still under a gag order and can't discuss the laughability and attempted political assisination of the entire case. Also, Merchan basically handed the prosecution a mistrail for juror misconduct. At least 1 juror (lol at 1) will hear, read, or discuss the case. We all know it. Have the investigators follow a few around during their 8 day break, and boom, mistrail. Keeping Trump tied up in court, again. All these cases are a disgrace to our judicial system, just like yhe FISA warrant was, just like yhe raid on Mar-Lago. Political assignation is their entire agenda. The people need yo speak up, they are tired of all the $$ being wasted on the political witchhunt, and it needs to stop. To make that point people have to lose their seat in DC, spot on the bench, job in Atlanta, New York, or DC and their house or senate seat. I'm not sayong vote out all the Dems, I'm saying it's time for change and the people want new blood that is actually there for the people, not their own or someone else's agenda

  15. Honestly, Its scary that Trump's lawyer is not letting him testify. Not testifying has not worked out for every major News trial for the last 5 years no matter how impossible it was for the conviction to happen. We want the Leadership from the potential 2024 president so let him do it.
