  1. Have you noticed how healthy these old Karate masters are ?
    Meanwhile, you have strikers with brain damage in their 40s, grapplers and wrestlers with joint and spine damage.
    Sure, ring sports are best, but you have to thing of the wear & tear on your body. And TMA is enough for some random drunk trying to beat you up.

  2. okinawan is oldest karate, most unadulterated among many; it is 50/50 hands/feet; don't mistake simplicity here, simple punches perfect skeletal geometry & motion–numerous unseen forces being marshalled; of note yet unobvious: notice each move is the same, perfectly, different moves same consistency of movement…

    glad i stumbled across a dojo run by some of George Dilman's students, it improves everything, success: have never needed to throw down =D
