I bought the KAMRUI AK1PLUS mini computer on November 20, 2023, and unfortunately, it’s been a major disappointment.
From the beginning, the fan was incredibly loud, making it difficult to use in a quiet environment. Then, without warning, the computer would crash and start running sluggishly. I tried to reset it, but now it’s stuck in the setup process because it refuses to recognize my mouse or keyboard.
I’ve exhausted all troubleshooting options, but I still can’t get it to work properly. I’m unsure about the warranty status, so I’ve contacted both the seller and manufacturer, but haven’t received a response.
While the initial price point was attractive, and it did function somewhat decently at first, it’s clear that this mini computer is not built to last. I strongly advise potential buyers to consider other options.
Update: After a significant delay, Kamrui finally responded to my concerns. They attributed the system crashes to a recent update and provided some potential fixes. Unfortunately, these solutions did not resolve the issue on my PC.
Furthermore, Kamrui offered a meager $80 refund for a device that cost significantly more. This offer was completely unacceptable, especially considering the persistent issues with both PCs.
Despite expressing my dissatisfaction with this inadequate resolution, I have not received any further communication from Kamrui.
As a loyal customer, I am extremely disappointed by Kamrui’s lack of support and their unwillingness to provide a satisfactory solution. I will be leaving negative reviews on multiple platforms to warn potential buyers about the company’s subpar products and poor customer service. I strongly advise against purchasing any Kamrui products.
