I believe there was a better way to test the weakness in the mail-in ballot issue by simply informing the supervisor of your plans. She's obviously lying about her intent or she is reallystupid and doesn't know how to conduct a proper audit. It's sad that the Wisconsin officials didn't take measures to fix it! That's the larger crime if you ask me and one that should be taken up by Federal investigation. We lose voter integrity in America, we lose everything!

Here is something very important for you to read. A ballot received and a ballot cast does NOT mean a ballot counted as a VOTE. The ballots have to be verified. And the moment those fake names and fake Social Security numbers were examined, they would be KNOWN to have been fake and the ballots would not be counted. it does not MATTER how a ballot is collected, it does not MATTER how a ballot is mailed, it does not MATTER where a ballot is sent or when, it ONLY matters when it is VERIFIED and COUNTED which happens WAY LATER in the whole process. A vote is ONLY counted after a ballot is received, tallied, and VERIFIED. The KEY THING is that they have to be VERIFIED. Notice that absolutely NO right-wing anti-voting 'corruption' propaganda spewer NEVER actually talks about the VERIFICATION process. All they EVER talk about is the ballots mailed, ballots sent, ballots collected but they NEVER talk about the VERIFICATION. Because they don't want you to know that it is at the verification process where these fake ballots ARE caught and they ARE stopped and it has been RELIABLE for centuries.
Do not let right-wing propaganda machines lie to you to make you think an election is a simple little game of high school rule paper with 'check yes or no'. There are MANY, MANY systems and checks in place that expose these and the fact that this woman WAS CAUGHT is proof that the system DOES work to stop people like this. There was no 'Cheating' in the election. The system is not 'corrupt', but what IS corrupt is the right-wing trying to convince you the election system, which has worked JUST FINE for over 200 years, is somehow only now 'corrupt' that a well documented fraudulent con man is trying to make you think it's corrupt.
Facts DO matter. But it is IMPORTANT to recognize that the facts are the ones that show you the corruption when someone is trying to CHANGE a system to benefit only themselves instead of everybody, or creates fearmongering without actually providing all the actual facts. The only ACTUAL cheating being done is people trying to subvert the will of the people by disenfranchising (that means taking away your right to vote) legal, constitutional voters. By putting up unnecessary roadblocks and burdens to 'stop' something that DOES NOT EXIST, to question a system that BOTH SIDES have verified is working properly and securely and to STOP listening to rag outlets that try to make you question 'mainstream media' as a means to tell you whatever propaganda sounds good.
Ok, so she committed fraud, to prove that fraud is possible.
No body with a brain would commit voter fraud. There is no guaranteed up side and the penalty is devastating. Paper trail paper trail. I wish she HAD submitted the ballots, then election deniers could see what happens when fake ballots enter the system.

I see in the lower right hand corner that this is Epoch Times. A media channel created after Fox got in trouble for lying about the election. This is where people go to watch news that is not the truth because the don't like the truth. To follow up, as any of this successfully made it through a court of law? This is YouTube, anybody can put something out. But just because it is on the internet, doesn't mean it's true.

I think Miss Zapata’s intentions were well meaning. I just think she didn’t execute the correct means to expose the flaws in mail-in ballots. I can think of at least two methods using the computer and website. Take screenshots of every step in the process for requesting those ballots. Use her position to bring it forward to the governor and state legislature. Another means is to investigate and see if there is any actual abuse of the system. By no means should she engage in the system abuse herself. She not only violated the law, she violated her oath to uphold the integrity of her position. I don’t think prison is the right punishment because she wasn’t doing this for any corrupt purpose. In fact, she was seeking to expose it. She just didn’t do it right. Since she did not defraud the American people, but against a single individual, I believe she should be fired. That was correct. She should also be permanently barred from holding any political, educational, or judicial office for a certain period of years if ever again. And she should be made to pay a fine to the state as well as placed on supervised probation for a certain number of yrs for having committed a fraudulent act against an individual while holding a government position. I do not believe she should be imprisoned for it. She is not a criminal. Just an idiot who broke the law in order to expose a breach in the law.

2. And this is the critical part that none of you idiots apparently get: Ballots have to be matched to the freaking voters rolls to be counted. That's why it takes so long to certify mail in ballots.
