I don't believe that it was staged. I believe that 58 yr old Tyson didn't have the endurance to go more than a round or 2 from his age and maybe lack of professional hard training. And I'm not a Jake Paul fan. But I believe that he wisely showed compassion for Tyson and didn't want to hurt him which would have infuriated most of the world against him. Professional fighters do the same sometimes asking the referee to stop the fight because they don't want to hurt the other fighter and let off the gas pedal. Lomenchenko did it, Canelo did it and even GGG has done it. It was just a money making fight with a weathered and old fighter almost 60. I have respect for Paul now for easing back in the gas pedal. Knocking out my 58 yr old childhood hero would have been bad for his business.
