  1. "If you cheat in the dark of the morning, you'll get found in the bright lights of the night." – Joe Frazier

After completing the majority of work for this video, my hard drive became corrupt and I lost the file to this project and about 6 weeks worth of work. I really didn't feel like starting from scratch again and I thought about just scrapping this mini doc altogether. I'm glad I decided to try again and complete the video because I feel like this is one of best documentaries that I've made. I hope you all feel the same.

  2. Joe Wepner was never the original inspiration
Sylvester Stylone has a conversation with Ali and Frazier in Cali to sell their story of the "Fight of the Century"
    and "The Thrilla of Manila."

It is well known that "Smoking Joe Frazier"
worked in a meat factory where he would punch the hanging beef and broke the rib bones.
This story is documented in a "Boxing Series."

    Read, research, read!
Ali was backed by the Louisville 11 and Frazier by the Philly
    Philanthropists!

  3. The video makes it seem like Frazier wouldn't make a top 10 heavyweights list, but being part of one of the most exciting eras and always being a top contender, I don't see how you can exclude him. He was also involved in two of the biggest matches in the history of the sport.

In no particular order, I think it's Frazier, Foreman, Ali, Holmes, Holyfield, L. Lewis, J. Louis, Marciano, W. Klitschko, and then maybe one of the newer guys like Usyk or one of the older guys like J. Johnson or Dempsey. Wouldn't include guys like Tyson or Liston for falling off so hard after taking losses. In the case of Sonny, I think he was taking dives, unfortunately. And Iron Mike just wasn't the same after Don King convinced him to fire Rooney as his trainer. Even though they were terrifying in their primes, it didn't last long enough to give them top 10 status for me.

  4. I have a whole new respect for Joe Frazier. As a Muslim, it really bothers me how Muhammad Ali behaved. He did NOT in any way behave as a Muslim. Allah does NOT like those who are arrogant. He was obviously misguided by the Nation or Kufr (Nation of "Islam"); otherwise, a Muslim who follows the Quran that it is not becoming of a Muslim to speak poorly about others. It is a good think that Ali matured and somewhat become more humble in his later years. Ali needed that whoopin to bring down that ego and shut him up for at least a short time.

  5. This was Ali’s darkest chapter. I loved Ali and still think he is the greatest political and pugilistic warrior in sports history. But this disgusted me more than any event in all of boxing and I watched Golota v Bowe. Could Ali not see that he was being the real Uncle Tom? Making white people chuckle as he flattened his nose and called Frazier a gorilla. I think God himself went into Frazier’s gloves to knock Ali on his ass for that.

  6. Wow, Joe Frazier deserved so much more. Incredible talent, took on Ali and won the fight, dealt with all of the nasty rhetoric thrown his way and didn't let that get him down, if anything, it seems like it just made him more determined.

  7. I need to start making Ali videos. There are a lot of Ali haters that choose to only talk about his losses.and ignore or down play his wins! But like it or not Ali was one of the very top most dominant and talked about heavyweight champions there had ever been and probably ever will be. And far more proven than anyone in his time that's why he was called the greatest. Taking brag about Joe Frazier all he want Joe Frazier never fought the two most dominant fighters of the 60s Sonny Liston and big cat Williams or the 70s with big Ron Lyle and Ernie shavers and you did see what happened when Joe Frazier fought George Foreman! And yes Joe Frazier defeated a coming back Ali with only 5 months of conditioning under his belt and had been gone three and a half years. And as good as Joe Frazier was he never defeated Ali again after that. Once Ali got inshape Joe Frazier never defeated Ali again and they fought two more times. 2nd fight second rd, Ali almost stopped Frazier and 3rd fight Ali TKO'd Frazier in the last fight. And went on to become 3 time Champion of the world! So thats how good Ali was!
