I was reading it about it when the news broke around 20 years ago. There was virtually no info about. That being said, theres no new info being said now either. The pictures are even the same as they were back then. The only thing new that I've seen is the word "God" on a pillar. I believed then and now this is all tied to Noah after the flood being only 300 miles from the site they believe was the ark.
I think they already know what we will find. I think it's far more sinister than he is insinuating.
Archaeologists dont dig up sites in their entirety ever unless its being destroyed. The reason being is as science advances we gain new methods of learning from the site. We can test things differently and record and examine the site in different ways as we learn. If we dig it up now we can only test based on current methods and can only learn based off what we know to look for. If you were to go back before the 1920s and 30s and tell them about soil sampling for science purposes they would have looked at you like you were crazy or before 1949 with carbon dating or with lidar in the 1970s etc. Etc. We dont want to dig up a site and thereby destroy future opportunities of testing or learning from a site in ways we don't currently understand. In 150 years from now they will be able to examine that site in ways we think are science fiction currently.
