  1. The last Sunday I arrive at home at 7 pm and noticed that I have been outside for 8 hours non stop, with a family visit, and I feel better physically, and I thought in that moment that being outside was the reason. We have been walking on the beach, then we walked to a virgin island (to which you can only go when the tide goes out), then along a river, till arrive to a meadow with Shetland ponyes.
On the other hand, I work in a nursery and we must have the doors open always, so the children can be in and out as they want. And I spend everyday 3 or 4 hours straight outdoor with them, in a forest garden on a hill. So the children spend more of the time outdoor, even with rain or snow. And some nurseries doesn´t have indoors, they are based in garden or forests. Im lucky to live in Scotland.

  2. this may sound pessimistic but lately here in germany i see trees covered in lichen top to bottom, ivy to the crown, mistletoe in bunches, dead branches, smaller and fewer leaves and dying trees to the extent that i cannot relax in the "forest" anymore. ii keep asking mnyself what is going on and how it can be fixed…

  3. It's hard when you live in England, it is wet, damp and cold for 5 months of the year. I was in australia for a few months last year and never felt happier or fitter and my low back pain vanished. You're blessed to live in an amazing place.

  4. So I’m just curious if they do this in the winter as well. I know In Minnesota getting hands to the ground and doing fun movements in the snow is pretty brutal and not fun.

  5. Damn it’s tough to do all this with these little rug rats lol I been taking them out to the park and just playing tag with them. Or just chasing them like a monster. Honestly going out and running around at the park is the farthest I can go with work my daughter’s sports but gotta get them out to the real nature. Thanks man makes me wanna get out there.

  6. I agree wholeheartedly with this man's video
Being outdoors is beautiful. Exersice is beautiful.I ,because of my spinal stenosis have to figure out how can I incorporate outdoor exercise while maintaining physical limitations

  7. I used to bike in the woods to the lake (around 25 minutes), have a swim (around 20 minutes) and boke back home. Became a bit challenging when water went under 10° or even 6°. Not the swim was challenging but biking back home 😃 cold swimming is one of the most powerful sources of happiness… (I was taking cold showers for a long time so cold water felt comfortable). I had to stop because of my chronic illness striking harder but I'll come back to it as soon as possible 🙂

  8. Just found your channel. Started walking almost every day since COVID. Hurt my knee two months ago, but I can still walk and it doesn't hurt. Love going hiking when the weather's good. My kids and I started wearing barefoot shoes 3 years ago. My kids are outside with shoes all the time except winter. Some of my kids are runners too.

  9. I stopped working out in my room, stopped going to the gym, stopped youtube workouts. I traded it all in for walking, for cycling, for hiking. None of it feels like a chore anymore. None of it is unsustainable (apart from the weather ahah I’m Scottish!). I have to walk everywhere, I have to cycle to the shops. I love being outside, I love going out, I love being submerged in nature. This was a big big big part of helping me ditch orthorexic compulsions and enjoying movement, the outdoors and my body instead
