Okay to clear some things up in this rather idiotic Comment section,
This ship is a Training ship and for decades now has been training Mexican Navy Cadets the ropes of simple sailing before being moved to more modern training Ships, after said Cadets finish Training they go on a tour around the Atlantic including the USA and many more countries, Now to the flag, Naval ships fly their countries flag, who would have thought!?!? Even in foreign countries they fly their flag, now this ship is basically the Mexican equivalent of the USS Constitution being a Navy sailing ship used for historical purposes and training (for the Mexican ship)

Seems strange that this ship leaves Spain and detours southwest to New York in order to go back North towards Iceland. Why didn't it just go the shortest distance from Spain directly to Iceland? And are the ships or ship on loan to Mexico or on lease? Or purchased back in 1982? A lot of answers needed. Especially when there is no Mexican holiday surrounding this ships launch. Foreign ships do have to have permission to anchor, launch, sail or cruise in that waterway.

Man this is terrible, very sad to see a beautiful classical ship be so damaged. And even more heart-wrenching to see the people being injured like that. I hope nobody was killed. I hope the bridge integrity is still intact and I hope the ship is able to be restored. She is a beautiful ship and rightly the pride of Mexico and its heritage.
