My friend and I were camping in Olley Valley Pennsylvania on the 4th of July 2024. My friend went to bed around 2100 hours and I stayed up to pull fire watch. Everything was calm and peaceful until 0200 hrs when at about 20 meters I noticed a tall silhouette moving from tree to tree circling our camp. I was slightly surprised by this and thought it to be my friend or human. I called out to the shadow thinking it to be my friend. I soon found out it wasn’t my friend since he woke up and came out of his tent and immediately said to me what is that!!! What is that thing peaking out from behind the tree. We prepared ourselves for a fight and broke camp and got out of the area.
