  1. Absolutely fabulous round!!
Why on earth you had it in your head to try and drive the green on the 17th is beyond me. One under with two holes to play, 355 yard par 4 and almost any iron off the tee would have left you in a position to protect your score. I'm sure you know what paddy would have said!

  2. Pete, from one geek to another )and to answer your Star Wars question) – the ventilation shaft and the hidden 'flaw' was purposely built by Galen Erso so his daughter Jynn could discover it and pass the info to the Rebels. So they could destroy it……. watch Rogue One…. oh, golf is epic too. Not in Rogue One. No golf in Rogue One. That would be weird but also surprisingly watchable.

  3. You didn’t listen to Harrington, the moaning from you is unreal.where have you been if you’ve never heard of that course, Darren Clarke was the touring pro from there, it was opened nearly 30 years ago.

  4. Pete your long/lag putting sucked large green donkey balls. I was hoping to see the LAB putter in this video but just read you didn’t have it for this video. I saw your other video with the LAB and you putted way better, you were smart to make the switch.

  5. @peterfinch Watch Star Wars: Rogue One. It explains the ventilation shaft and is a great movie overall.

Also, great vlog. I'm working on the mental part of my game as well.
The best leap I had was accepting I'm not going to be on the PGA tour. Lol
Might sound stupid but I started playing way better. And I started to enjoy golf more.

  6. I think that Padraig video will hopefully have the same effect on my game as well. Currently a 10 handicap but it feels like if I have 1 or 2 bad shots then I feel I've ruined my round and then bleed the rest. Hoping to be down to 5 by the end of this year and I think mentality will have a huge part to play in that.

Great video! Can't wait for episode 6 of the QFTO series!

  7. Peter you are so talented and I genuinely believe you are capable of playing on tour. Mentally you are self disparaging. Hoping this is the new you, thanks to Padraig.

  8. I think I can hear Pádraig Harrington saying "well done my young padawan". And about the ventilation safts in death stars. It was a type error in them. In later model they removed them entirely to avoid the same problems. And that is the reason why Star Wars ended. Now all the bad guys are floating suffocated in a death star that is just drifting in space. It would not make a good movie, even if some alien life form would evolve in that anoxic shell of evil empire. 😀

  9. 2:50 If that's your semi-rough, I'll trade it any time of year for the fairways I play on! 😀
13:28 No, I'm not part of the community even when following you since you started back then, he-he-he. But, now that you won your first tourney, I might be tempted to subscribe 😁
    15:40 "Who I'm I? Rick Shiels?" 💥Lololololol freaking Finch 💥That does it 💥 I'm subscribing! 😃
24:15 Indeed! I don't smoke. Moreover, I consider it a crime smoking on the golf course, and here in Texas I hate it when I find cigar drops some idiots leave on the fairways, greens, bunkers and even floating on the ponds. I asked one of them when dropping his crap just like that: "Hey fool, why in the world did you do that?" and he replied: "Cause I ain't carrying an astray you dumb butt!"

  10. How you also now an American is on the course
    – All carts are rented out
    – The owner of the local Burger Joint just bought a Lambo
    – Your health insurance card stopped working for no reason
    – All people of color in the vicinity are wearing kevlar vests

  11. Pete here is the point of the "Ventilation Shaft" my friend. The movie Rogue One tells us that a particular engineer employed by the empire (Galen Erso) specifically designed this and hoped the Rebellion would find out (This explains the pilot who escaped) this flaw so as to take advantage of destroying the Empire. Hopefully this helps explain the point of this design! 😁😁

  12. Pete – your comments on your mental approach remind me of something I read once about how Bobby Jones approached the game. Basically if he was playing/swinging well, he had one swing thought – BUT – if he was playing great, then he did not (have to) think about anything! So, it seems to me different "strokes" for different folks, go with what works.
